A Small Inconvenience (V2)

And here we go with the next ch of Volume 2. After this I might not he able to post for another like week because of finals but I'll try my best. Let the story commence.

We open with the excitement of... another Port speech. It was a mystery to you how anyone could could find any useful information in what he was saying. What made it even worse was that you had something really exciting to look forward to afterwards. The investigation that you and your team had planned to help get info on the White Fang and Roman's plan. The only fun part was Jaune failing to ask out Weiss.

Jaune: So Weiss I was thinking that after this we could grab a bite to eat?....... And I've got tickets for the new Spruce Willis movie if you wanna make the trip to Vale. I've heard it's awsome........ And after that we could study together since y'know I'm me and your very smart.

Then the bell rang and in typical Weiss fashion she let him down hard.

Jaune: Weiss? Did you hear me?

Weiss: No, no, no, yes.

Yang: One day buddy.

(Y/N): Y'know what they say Jaune, there are plenty of fish in the sea.

Back at the dorm you stood outside as the girls changed into their new attire.

Blake: You can come in now (Y/N).

(Y/N): Looking good ladies.

Blake: Finally, I thought that class would never end.

Ruby: Alright team, today the investigation begins!

Weiss: I'm glad to see we're taking this so seriously.

Yang: Hey we've got a plan, that's moderately serious.

(Y/N): I think we should go over it one more time just in case.

Weiss: Ruby and I will head over to the CCT to check the company files for any shipment irregularities. It shouldn't be a problem since I'm the heiress.

Blake: The White Fang holds regular faction meetings for recruitment and to give new orders. If I can get in I can find out what they're planning.

(Y/N): I'll be searching possible locations they could be using to store all that dust. There are only about 6 suitable locations in Vale that I could find.

Yang: I have a friend on the shady side of town. It shouldn't be that hard to get information out of him.

Ruby: And we'll meet up with Yang to go over what we found. Let's do this team!

Sun: Yeah!

RWBY+(Y/N): Sun!

Blake: How did you get up there?

Sun: It's easy I do it all the time.

(Y/N): I will fucking skin you and make a carpet.

Sun: I climb trees all the time. So are we finally getting back at Torchwick?

Blake: WE are going to investigate, as a TEAM.

Ruby: Sorry Sun, we don't wanna get friends involved unless we have to.

Sun: You should always get friends involved. That's why I brought Neptune.

Neptune: Sup.

Ruby: How did you get up here?

Neptune: I have my ways. But seriously can I come in now we are really high up.

Ruby: Alright I'll go with Weiss, Sun with Blake, and Neptune will go with Yang.

Weiss: Wouldn't it make more sense for you to go with Yang, she is your sister.

Ruby: But who would go with you?

Weiss: I guess Neptune could come with me.

Ruby:Hmmmm, naaaaaah.

Weiss:Bu-bu-bu-bu....

And now we cut to you standing in front of an abandoned warehouse, one of the only 6 they could be using to store Dust. Unsurprisingly but disappointingly it was empty save the odd homeless person. You took out your scroll amd crossed it off the list. The second location was near the docks. Although this time you couldn't shake the feeling that you were being watched. That and while no one was there you could tell from the floor marks and some broken dust crystals that they had been here before. You decided to take some photos just in case. That's when some woman wearing a mask came in.

(Y/N): Who the hell are you?

???: Wouldn't you like to know handsome?

(Y/N): I don't have time for these games, I'm kinda in the middle of something important right now.

???: Sorry honey, but I can't let you continue to ask questions you shouldn't know the answer to.

She then summoned a bow, out of glass? Must be her semblance. You used your Glyphs to speed yourself up and then jumped in the air. Dodging an arrow you fired you chain barely missing her shoulder and then pulled yourself down for a head kick. She used her bow to block and then fired another arrow hitting your calf. You then tried to punch her but surprisingly she was able to block. Using your time dilation you were able to slow her down to the point that you were able to land some solid gut punches in and finishing it off with a kick to her head.

???: Very impressive, but you're way out of your league.

She then activated a second semblance? No that can't be right. No one can have more than 1 semblance.
With this newfound power she absolutely clobbered you. Even when you used your glyph to summon an Ursa Major to attack her. She easily broke your aura and even dislocated your right arm.

???: Well that was fun. I could kill you right now but we have big plans. And I can't wait to see you afterwards honey. See you soon.

She then left. You then faded out of consciousness. When you awoke you saw you were being called by Blake. Answering you heard Sun screaming something about a robot and Torchwick. So you popped you arm back in the socket and made your way outside only to see a giant explosion, so you made your way there. When you arrived you saw what appeared to be a broken mech and Roman getting away on a bulkhead.

(Y/N): Guess I missed the party.

Blake: You have no idea.

(Y/N): So you girls have any luck?

Ruby: None here.

Weiss: I managed to get the files from the company.

Yang: Mine was a dead end too.

Blake: We found where their new base is.

(Y/N): Well all I found was where they used to store their dust. But almost everything has been moved now.

Ruby: Welp let's head on back guys.
