And now with the second chapter of Volume 2. I'm gonna try to squeeze more writing into my schedule but the next chapter should be out on Wednesday. Also just wanna say wow. Just wow. 2.28K reads. Holy shit, I really appreciate that guys. Now without further ado let the story commence.

You and your friends were in the Library. Yang, Ruby, and Weiss were playing some strange board game called "Remnant: The Board Game" or something like that. To be honest you weren't paying attention to them. The thing currently captivating your attention was Blake. Who seemed to have been more distant and moody over the past few days. She was also playing but you could tell that her mind was somewhere. You would have a conversation with her when you guys got back to the dorm. You tuned back in when it was Weiss turn.

Weiss: I have absolutely no clue what's going on.

Yang: It's simple, you're playing as Vacuo so all Vacuo cards get bonuses. See you have Sandstorm, Desert Scavenge, oh Resourceful Raider. See now you can take Ruby's discarded air fleet and add it to your hand. And since Vacuo soldiers have an endurance boost against natural hazards you can use Sandstorm to disable my forces while simultaneously invading my kingdom. Just know I will not forgive this insult.

Weiss: And that means...

Ruby: You're just 3 moves away from conquering Remnant.

(Y/N): Yang definitely cheated right there.

Yang: How dare you make such a baseless accusation?

Weiss: Hahahah! Yes! Fear the almighty power of my forces! Cower as they pillage your homes and take your wives and children from your very arms!

Yang: Trap card.

(Y/N): And there it is.

Yang: Your armies have been destroyed.

Weiss: I hate this game of emotions we play.

Ruby: Stay strong Weiss, we'll get through this together.

Weiss: Shut up, don't touch me.

Yang: Blake it's your turn.

Blake: What am I doing again?

Yang: You're playing as Vale trying to conquer all of Remnant.

Jaune: Can I play?

Ruby: Sorry Jaune, we already got 4 people.

Weiss: Not to mention this game takes a certain military tact to play.

(Y/N): Sis Yang destroyed all your forces with just 1 trap card.

Jaune: Bring it on Ice Queen. I'll have you know I've been told that I'm a born leader.

Weiss: By who? Your mother?

Jaune: A-And Pyrrha!

Pyrrha: Hello again.

Jaune: Come on let play your hand for a turn.

Weiss: No way! I'm not trusting you with the citizens of Vacuo!

Jaune: But you've trusted me with more important stuff. Like the fact that Blake is a fa-

Pyrrha: Fun loving person, whom we all admire and respect.

Jaune: Right, that.

(Y/N): Nice save Pyrrha.

Pyrrha: Thank you.

Then Sun walked in with Neptune. Who then hit on Weiss. Causing you to "accidentally" throw a book at him. Then Blake went back to the dorm and you followed immediately.

(Y/N): Blake, what's wrong? Lately you've been less social than usual, and sometimes even the tiniest of things seem to make you very angry. Talk to me Blake, let me help.

Blake: I just don't understand how everyone can be so calm!

That's when the rest of the team walked in, complaining about Neptune having whooped their ass in the game.

(Y/N): Still thinking about Torchwick?

Blake: Torchwick, the White Fang, all of it. Something big is happening and no one is doing anything.

Yang: Ozpin told us not to worry. Between the police and the huntsman I'm sure they have it covered.

Blake: Well I don't, they don't know the White Fang like I do!

Weiss: Okay between stopping criminals, and destroying night clubs I bet you all think you're ready to apprehend these nerduels.

(Y/N): But Weiss-

Weiss: We're not ready!

Blake: And we may never BE ready! They won't just wait around until graduation day. They're out there planning something, right now. It's coming wether we're ready or not.

(Y/N): Alright then, let's formulate a plan of attack.

Ruby: (Le gasp) I left my board game in the library!

Weiss: We're doomed.

(Y/N): I'll come with.

Ruby then ran into what appeared to be 3 exchange students.

Ruby: Sorry.

???: It's fine, next time just watch where you're going.

Ruby: So where are you from?

???2: Visiting from Haven.

(Y/N): Exchange students have their own dormitories.

???2: And who might you be handsome?

(Y/N): In a happy relationship and unavailable.

???2: Aw, well that's too bad. Names Cinder, these are Mercury and Emerald.

Ruby: Welm your building is just East of here.

Cinder: Thanks, maybe we'll see you around.

Ruby: Bye, and welcome to Beacon!
