First Day Troubles

Due to your position as a substitute teammate you were given your own dorm. You woke up at around 6:45 A.M had breakfast, did a morning workout, got ready and then went to class. Finally your sister and her team along with team J.N.P.R arrived with only 1 minute to spare.

Y/N: *whispering* Weiss what took all of you so long?

Weiss: Don't ask!

That told you all you had to know. You thought that your sister might've been salty about not being chosen as leader. The fact Ruby was sleeping in class, drawing, and balancing a book on her nose? Probably didn't help with that either. You figured you would have a talk with her after class. All of the sudden Port asked for volunteers amd it hit you how hadn't been paying any attention.

Your sisters hand immediately shot up. Port then called her to the front. He opened the cage to reveal a Boartusk. It charged at her immediately and she dodged. She then went to stab it only to get her Rapier stuck on its tusks. It proceeded to disarm her, and then then charge again. Weiss dodged then ran to pick up her weapon. She blocked it's next charge with a glyph then stabbed it's unarmored belly.

You couldn't help but notice your sister becoming increasingly frustrated with Ruby, despite the fact Ruby was only trying to give her advice. You saw them arguing and then Weiss stormed off. You decided to talk to Ruby first. Since you wanted her to give your sister a second chance.

Y/N: Hey Ruby.

Ruby: Hi (Y/N). Is Weiss right? Did Ozpin make a mistake letting me in early?

Y/N: I can honestly tell you, that I don't know. It's too early to tell wether or not you're gonna be a good leader. Or wether or not you're the right choice. But Ozpin sees something in you Ruby. So try and prove him right. Plus I'm sure Weiss is just frustrated she isn't the leader.

Ruby: Thanks (Y/N). I really needed that.

Y/N: No problem Ruby. If you ever need more wonderful advice come to me.

You then went to your room and saw Blake on the way there. Once again you decided to strike up a conversation with her.

Y/N: Hey Blake, what're you doing?

Blake: Oh hey (Y/N), I'm just bringing a few books from the library to read later.

Y/N: Oh yeah speaking of that we never got to read "A man with 2 Souls" together. Can I come over let's say this weekend and we could maybe read it together then?

Blake: Sure, I'm free this Sunday.

Y/N: Okay it's a date then... I mean not a y'know *date* date but as in like the date that we agreed upon.... wow look at the time I gotta go. See you this Sunday Blake.

After getting to your dorm you celebrated a small bit for landing a date with Blake. As you fell asleep you hoped Ruby and Weiss had patched things up and you were very excited to hang out with Blake.
