Part 4: Time Skip/Exiled

**Time Skip, 1 year**

After his first meeting with Hinata, they had run into each other multiple times since then and had slowly started to become good friends. The first few times Naruto tried to talk to Hinata, she would promptly turn red and pass out. As time went on she stopped passing out but would still turn red and stutter whenever she talked to Naruto. Eventually, she grew more comfortable around him and stopped stuttering but would still occasionally turn red whenever Naruto complemented her. After some time spent hanging out with Naruto, her confidence was boosted exponentially and she no longer doubted every move she made. Even her father constant verbal abuse no longer affected her as the only persons whose opinion she cared about was Naruto's. The two quickly became best friends and where nearly inseparable but this of course didn't sit to well with the Hyuga clan.

They were not comfortable with the fact that the Hyuuga heir was hanging around the 'demon brat'. They tried everything they could to keep them apart but no matter how underhanded the tactics, the two always managed to find their way back to each other like 2 opposite ends of magnet. They eventually stopped trying and just let the 2 be. During the year they spent together, they also trained together a lot. Hinata had a mastery of the jougan style that should be impossible for a 7 year old. After the year is over, Hinata is around high chunin to low jonin level and Naruto is around mid-high jonin level. Hinata however still hasn't shown her skills to her clan.

The day before the Academy started, Hinata is called before the Hyuuga elders and is told she is no longer allowed to bear the Hyuuga name.

"You are weak compared to prodigies like Neji and you sister Hanabi. Along with that, you voluntarily hang around the demon brat even when we told you to stay away from him. You are disgrace to the Hyuuga name and are hereby exiled from the clan." Hinata's grandfather says finishing it off with a sadistic grin.

 Hinata is dumbstruck and barley has time to even fully process what was happening before she is thrown out of the Hyuuga compound without any money, food or extra clothing. Hinata is roaming around the village sobbing when she bumps into Naruto who is just walking around the village.

"Oh, I'm sor-oh hey Hinata, wait- why are you crying?" Naruto asks Hinata with a worried look on his face.

Hinata then tells Naruto what happened and Naruto is royally pissed. The usual smile Naruto wears is completely gone and has been replaced with a scowl with killing intent leaking off of him in waves that could be felt all over the village. He tells Hinata not to worry that he will go over there destroy the entire Hyuga clan himself but Hinata holds him back and simply tells him.

"No Naruto-kun, you can't do that. The branch family has never done anything to harm me and I intend to free them from the caged bird seal that enslaves them.

Naruto starts to calm down and turns around, gets on the ground with Hinata and holds her and hugs her tightly as he cries into his shoulder

"Kid, you cannot let this girl go anymore, you must tell her how you feel now" Gojo says in a serious tone that is rarely heard.

"Alright Gojo-san, I will tell her how I feel." Naruto replies to Gojo

Naruto continues to stroke Hinata's head and then says "Hey hime, I want to tell you something."

Hinata stops crying for a bit an looks up at the white-haired boy "What Naruto-kun" she whispers

Naruto lifts up his blindfold exposing his eyes. He looks at Hinata directly in her eyes and say "Hinata-hime, I must tell you how I truly feel....I love you, I have loved you since the first time I saw you. I could immediately tell that you had a kind, loving heart and I couldn't stop myself from falling for you. You are my world and my sole reason for existing. I love you with all my heart and soul and I will never let you go." Naruto says, maintaining eye contact with Hinata the whole time.

Hinata is shocked, she doesn't know how to respond at first but then a big smile breaks out on her face as she starts crying again.

"Oh Naruto-kun, I love you too" she says and Naruto's grin returns to his face and puts his blindfold back on and kisses Hinata on the forehead.

"Alright Hime, you can come with me, there is a home for you in my apartment. You are now Hinata Uzumaki-Namikaze of the Uzumaki and Namikaze clan." Naruto says as he helps Hinata up and takes her back to his apartment.
