**Time skip, 1 1/2 years**
Naruto, Hinata, and Sasuke spent a lot of time together since the day they met. They became fast friends and spent every waking moment in each others presence. The villagers looked at Naruto with even more hate than usual when they saw him around an Uchiha as well as a Hyuga. This didn't bother them though, as they both now knew the reason the villagers hated Naruto so much and also got the chance to meet Kurama. The trio trained together a lot as well. After a 1 1/2 years together, Naruto was now Mid to High-Kage level and both Hinata and Sasuke where High Jonin to low-Kage level.
After the end of their first year together, tragedy struck the group. One day when Sasuke walked into their class, he didn't greet his two best friends like he usually did. He instead sat down by himself with his chin resting on his hands. Naruto and Hinata took notice of this immediately and after a full day of Sasuke not saying a word to them, they caught him right as he was walking back to the Uchiha district.
"Hey Sasuke, what's up with you?" Naruto asked, concerned for his best friend. "You haven't said a word to either of us all day?"
"Just leave me alone Naruto, I'm fine" Sasuke grumbled no even looking back to his friend
"Bullshit" was all Naruto said. Sasuke reeled around and glared at the white-haired boy.
"What the hell do you mean by that Dobe?"Sasuke growled
"It's simple, we've been friends for a little over a year now and I think I would be able to tell if my best friend was not okay." Naruto stated
"Sasuke-kun, you can tell us what's going on with you, we're your friends." Hinata said her voice laced with concern for her friend.
Sasuke could see how worried his friends where for him and he started to loose the angry look and it was replaced by one of grief
"Fine, I'll tell you." Sasuke said begrudgingly
Sasuke then told them all about the Uchiha massacre and how it was his brother who did it. Hinata was horrified about this but Naruto looked perplexed. Sasuke noticed this look and asked him what was wrong.
"Well, you say that Itachi did what he did because he wanted to test his strength but we all know that the village had already acknowledged his strength so he had no need to kill the entire Uchiha clan to test himself. Also, if he really wanted to test his strength, he wouldn't have killed everyone while they were asleep as they wouldn't be able to fight back." Naruto said stating what he was thinking
"What are you trying to say Naruto" Sasuke says his eyes narrowing
"All I'm saying is that there has to be an underlying reason that he mascaraed your whole clan that he couldn't tell you, so I would like to advise that you don't get stronger to kill Itachi but instead to find out the real reason he did what he did." Naruto advised his friend.
Sasuke pondered what Naruto had just told him and realized that what his friend had told him made sense. He sighed and then said "I guess it makes sense, I will trust you Naruto, but that doesn't mean I don't hate my brother." he said
Naruto and Hinata smiled at the raven haired boy as they all got up and started to walk together. That was when Naruto suddenly stopped and raised his index finger into the air. "Oh, that reminds me,I guess you two don't know because I didn't tell you but I know who my parents are." Naruto says dumbly
