**Inside Naruto's Mindscape**
We see Naruto slowly coming to as his eyes slowly flutter open. He starts to sit up while groaning and whining about a headache.
"Shut up brat, you sound like a wuss complaining so much." Kurama jabs at Naruto
"You know, you could try to be a bit nicer, I did just wake up." Naruto says still a bit disoriented.
Kurama just huffs before putting his head on his front paws, looking quite dejected. Naruto notices this and decides to ask what is up.
"Hey Kurama, you okay? Why do you look so sad? Oh, and where is Gojo-san, it's kinda odd he hasn't started blabbing about penises or something equally as random." Naruto asks jumping from subject to subject.
"Ugh, stop babbling. As for Gojo, well... he-he's gone kit." Kurama says sadly
Naruto immediately stops talking and looks at Kurama with wide eyes.
"Wha-what do you mean? What do you mean by that Kurama?" Naruto asks in a shaky voice
"After you got stabbed through the chest, you were going to die. No matter how much chakra I gave you, I couldn't heal the hole fast enough. Before I could even notice, Gojo merged his soul completely with yours. When this happened, he gave you all his experience and knowledge. This caused his soul to fully leave our plane of existence. He has fully passed away." Kurama says sadly
Naruto could only look at Kurama with wide eyes, as he started tearing up.
"S-so, he's gone? Forever?" Naruto asks shakily
"Sadly, yes." Kurama says
Naruto looked at Kurama, a devastated look on his face that made Kurama's heartache. Naruto fell to his knees and started crying. He had known Gojo for most of his life. He, along with Kurama, were like his older brothers, someone who had always been there for him even in the lowest points in his life. Losing him, someone who had played such a huge part in his life, hurt more than anyone could imagine.
Naruto just knelt there on the ground, crying his eyes out until he fell asleep, while Kurama, who had shrunk down to about the size of a horse, wrapped him up in his tails in an attempt to comfort him.
**Timeskip, 2 days later**
Naruto slowly opens his eyes. He looks around and notices he is in an unfamiliar place. He tries to get up but feels some extra weight on his body. He looks down to see Hinata clinging to him like a lifeline, tear stains and eye bags under her eyes. He looked down at her with a sad smile on his face before he quietly got out of bed, trying not to wake Hinata up.
Once he got out of the bed, he made his way to the bedroom door. He opened it and stepped out of the room, he looked down the hall trying to figure out where he was when he saw someone, a girl, sitting next to the door, asleep. Naruto looked down at the girl confused before bending down and shaking her slightly. She slowly stirred and blinked her eyes awake, she looked next to her and saw Naruto. This caused her eyes to widen before she shot up and on her knees, bowing at Naruto
