(A/N: I forgot to say but in this fanfic, Hinata and Hanabi are actually twin sisters, so they are in the Academy at the same time. Sorry I didn't mention this before, ok lets start this part.)
**The next day**
Naruto and Hinata are walking towards the Hokage tower as there is still 2 hours before the Academy starts. They are going there to ask the 3rd hokage Hiruzen Sarutobi to legally change Hinata's last name from Hyuuga to Uzumaki. Naruto had also told Hinata all about the nine-tails and actually took her to meet him, but he left out the stuff about Gojo as he said he wanted to remain secret. Hinata was completely fine with this and now that she knew why the village treated Naruto so terribly, she hated them even more.
When Naruto and Hinata reached the receptionist in front of Hiruzen's door, she attempted to stop them but they both sped by her before she got the chance to utter a word. They opened the door and strolled into the office hand in hand
"Yo, Gigi, how's it going." Naruto says casually to the most powerful man in the village
"Ah, Naruto, it nice to see you and...Hinata?" The hokage says wondering why Naruto had come into his office so early in the morning with the Hyuuga heiress no less and was even more confused when he saw them holding hands.
"Ah, well you see-" Naruto then explains the whole situation to Hiruzen who nods in understanding.
"I understand Naruto, I will change Hinata's last name as soon as possible." Hiruzen says as he takes a puff from his pipe.
"Thanks Gigi, oh and can you also increase my allowance because I now need to support more than myself." Naruto inquires from the old hokage
Hiruzen agrees to this and Naruto and Hinata say goodbye to Hiruzen before leaving the office through the window shocking the fossilized hokage.
**Time skip, 2 hours**
Naruto and Hinata where standing in front of the Academy with Hinata's arm wrapped tightly around Naruto's bicep.
"Are you ready Hime?" Naruto ask looking down at the shorter girl
"More ready than I ever thought I would be." Hinata says confidently.
Naruto smiles when she says this. "Good." Then they both make their way into the school and towards their classroom.
Before they can even open the door, 2 blurs, one white and the other pink, zoom past them bursting through the door.
"Haha, I beat you Ino pig!" yells are pinkett with an amazingly large forehead.
"Geez, her forehead is gonna give me sunburn reflecting all that sunlight" Gojo says as he shields his eyes
"Yeah right forehead girl, the only reason you could have beat me is if your big head crossed the door before I did." the blonde girl retorts
The 2 girls kept arguing as Naruto and Hinata walked past them toward an empty table in the back. They sat down next to each other and started talking and laughing this caught the attention of a certain Hyuuga girl in the class, Hanabi, Hinata's twin sister. She could see how happy her sister was even though she had been kicked out of their family just yesterday and this made her extremely angry. She wanted to see her supposedly weak sister to be completely broken and realize that she was useless and a waste of space. She gets up from her seat in the front and walks up to the two in the back and slams her hand on the table in front of Hinata.
"Hey, you failure, what are you doing here acting all happy? Do you still not understand the face that you are a waste of space and would be better of dead?" she says with a smug grin on her face thinking she broke through a mask her former sister was putting up.
Before Hinata get's a chance to answer Naruto simply cannot hold back his rage. Faster than Hanabi could ever hope to follow, Naruto grabs her by the neck and slams her against the wall. He holds her up against the wall with one and and uses the other to remove his blindfold exposing his eyes and glaring at Hanabi with rage.
"Don't you DARE talk to my Hime like that ever again, because if I ever find out, death would be a much better fate to succumb to than what I would do to you." Naruto growls, venom dripping from his words and leaking an enormous amount of killing intent causing Hanabi to stop breathing.
Hinata notices this and touches Naruto's arm, "Naruto-kun, please let her go, she isn't breathing because of the pressure you are exuding." Hinata says calmly
Naruto starts to calm down and reigns his killing intent back in and dropping Hanabi on the floor gasping for breath. "I will never be able to wrap my mind around just how kind a heart you possess Hime. Even after they disown you, you still refuse to hate them. I guess that is one of the reasons I fell in love with you." Naruto says with a sigh of exasperation as he heads back to his seat with Hinata.
Hanabi starts to get up from the floor but before she can ask what just happened Iruka walks in and this forces Hanabi to go back to her seat.
Iruka starts taking roll until he says, "Hanabi Hyuga?"
"Here" she says smugly
"Hinata Hyuga?"
"I am no longer Hinata Hyuga," Hinata simply states,"My name is now Hinata Uzumaki of the Uzumaki clan."
This shocks everyone in the class as they all knew that Naruto was hated by their parents and that his last name is also Uzumaki. This especially shocks Hanabi as she expected Hinata to try to hold onto that Hyuga name for as long as possible.
"O-ok then Hinata Uzumaki" Iruka says, shocked
From that point on, the day went of without a hitch. After the day was over, Naruto and Hinata would be walking back to their apartment when they are stopped by a boy their age with raven black hair.
"Hey, you two, Naruto and Hinata right?" the boy says
"Yeah. What's up?" Naruto asks the boy
" My name is Sasuke Uchiha and well, I was just wondering how you both got so strong?" Sasuke asks excitedly
"What makes you assume we are as strong as you make us out to be?"Naruto questions the boy
"Well, the pressure you gave of before class today was far stronger than anything an 8 year old should be able to and I could feel just how powerful it was even though it wasn't directed at me."Sasuke says surprising Naruto due to the fact he could feel his killing intent even though it wasn't aimed at him.
"Ok, I understand why you think I am strong but what makes you think Hinata is strong as well?" Naruto asks Sasuke again
"Well, she was much closer to you than I was and yet she didn't seem at all fazed by the amount of KI you were leaking. No matter how much time she has spent around you, she should still be affected all the same by it unless she is strong enough to withstand it." Sasuke says shocking Naruto again just by how insightful the boy was
Naruto then smirks at the boy,"You know Sasuke, you are much smarter than most of the kids our age should be, come on, we can go gets some ramen, I know a really good place." Naruto says before turning around and motioning for him to follow them. As they walk they talk together and laugh with each other as the villagers who see this are shocked, wondering how the demon brat befriended both a Hyuga and an Uchiha, important children from the two most powerful clans in Konoha.
