Now or never. Mom and Dad used to always say that phrase. It was a way of telling me that if I don't do it, then I'll never get the chance again-very self explanatory.

Because if not now, then when?

"What? No! You can't do this!" I struggled but Emery and Fitz held me down to the couch as Mr. Forkle walked closer.

No. No. No. This can't happen. I need to do something. Mr. Forkle starts to reach for my head but collapsed before he could get the chance to touch it.

He groans and screams in pain. Did I do that?

Fitz and Emery let me go and rushed to help him.

"Sophie! What did you do?" I must have inflicted on him.

I need to go. I need to get out of here. "I-I'm sorry- I didn't mean to- I don't know." I sprint out of the house while they're all distracted.

I hear pounding feet running behind me and look back to see who it is. Alden.

He runs after me as we go past the pastures. Finally I come to where I need to be. A dead end.

"Sophie, you can't run forever. Please come back now." Alden slowly steps forward to wards me, like I'm a wild animal.

I back up to the edge of the cliff, ready to fall and teleport out of here.

"I'm sorry Alden, I need to do this."

"I'm sorry too, Sophie." Before I know what happening, he pulls out a throwing star and throws it at me.

I fall back, hoping to miss it but to no available. The throwing star slashes just above my hip as I fall.

I slip in the void. Where do I go? Where do I go? Where do I go?

Suddenly an image passes though my mind. I focus on it until I'm falling again. I land against the hard ground.

Looking around I notice I'm in an ally way. It smelled and looked filthy so I rushed out. I could hear cars beeping around me and the air seemed much thicker then it was before, like I was shoved under a big blanket.

I gasped. I must be in the forbidden cities!

I pick myself up, then yelp at the pain in my side. I look down and lift up my foxfire shirt-vest thing. Blood stained the uniform but luckily the cut wasn't that deep.

I cover it with my hand and walk out of the ally way and on to a street. It looked somewhat familiar but I couldn't put my finger on it.

People stared at me as I walk down the sidewalk. Little stores and shops were everywhere so I figured I must be in some kind of town. I keep walking, looking around the place while trying to figure out what I was going to do when I walk past a cafe. It had glass panels so everyone could see inside the store, but that's not what caught my eye.

Artfully styled blonde hair sat at a table. He was wearing casual jeans and a plain, black shirt. He looked human but when he looked up at the waiter that boroughs him his food, I could see his beautiful ice blue eyes and shy smile as he nodded his head in a thanks.

Keefe.
