Yet Another leo valdez Memories Fan Fic

skipping classes, talks, ramen, vodka, and twenty questions.

(A/N, don't kill me! I have a good explanation for not updating, just give me a moment to think up a lie... *five minutes later* nope, sorry I have no real excuse for my lack of updates. I just got back from a sleepover and my mom is having a minor surgery today but no excuse comes to mind in the shit storm that is my life.)

the next morning Logan seems like a zombie, only answering Leo in quiet 'uhm hum's' or just a grunt of acknowledgment. it's beginning to worry Leo, because out of the week that he's been here and out of the week of night terrors never has Logan acted like this, normally the grunts and zombie like behavior in the morning is Leo's job.

eventually Leo leaves for classes but throughout the day he becomes gradually more worried, he has a few classes with Leo and in all of them he's been marked absent. at the sound of the bell Leo's already out the door with his bag in hand.

rushing back to his dorm room. he nearly rips the door off the hinges opening it, tossing the bookbag on his bed he collapses on his at the sight of a shirtless Logan curled up on his bed staring at nothingness as if it could fix all his issues.

if it wasn't for the fact that Leos currently pissed he'd have turned into a blushing mess, but he's pissed so he opts to open his mouth to yell at him for ditching classes but he stops himself short, the look in Logan's shattered amber eyes. like he'd just seen everything and everyone he's ever known has been torn away from him.

and Leo could relate to the look, so instead of scolding him Leo sighs. sliding off the bed and on to the carpet, right into Logan's view although he doesn't acknowledge Leo's presence. Leo presses his hands together, debating on what to say, if what to say is the right thing to say.

after a minute he just mumbles "fuck it." before looking at Logan asking him "what happened?" Logan's eyes flash as he focuses on Leo as if just realizing he was there. Leo decides to ignore the pang of hurt he feels at that.

eventually Logan says quietly "it was just me and mom, dad was a dead beat and in and out of jail." Leo flinches at that, he's had his fair share of in and out abusers.

it's like no one realizes that they went and pulled a kid out of child abuse and then they hand the kid over to another abuser saying 'here, take this helpless kid that's already been through hell and mentally destroy them for me so I have a reason to hate them!'

Logan continues "about a month ago mom slit her wrists. after that dad got custody of me and after a week kicked me out. state sent me here." Leo scoffs out "fucking hell."

Logan stares at him for a minute before asking him "why are you here?" Leo's shoulders sag before telling him in the best simplified version he could "I was in the system, they didn't like that I kept running away and eventually sent me here." Logan scoffs with a chuckle saying "jeez. and I thought I watered mine down."

Leo rolls his eyes at him saying "ok, I think that ramen, vodka and twenty questions are called for." Logan smiles, nodding before getting up, Leo catches a good look a his six pack as he walks over to his dresser oblivious to Leo's now blushing face. he quickly turns away and heads for the kitchenette.

Nico looks between the screen and Leo as he tries not to laugh at the sight of him blushing when he saw Logan's abs. though now Leo's blushing as well and it's nearly as cute as it was on screen.

he can't help the silent chuckles that do escape as he watches Leo glare at Piper as she tries not to screech at how adorable they are. but then she suddenly stills and her smile fades as she asks Leo "what happened? I never met Logan."

Leo's blush fades nearly as quickly as Piper's smile he opens his mouth to answer but stops, thinking about what he's going to say and then says carefully "it'll be shown." this doesn't ease Nico's nerves at all, yes, he finds Leo hot, in both meanings but the look in his eyes tell him that whatever happened to Logan wasn't good. it doesn't help his case that Piper never met him.
