Yet Another leo valdez Memories Fan Fic

(A/N, ok. I have no motivation to continue writing this, but I promise that I will try... and I realize another thing, none of my A/Ns are ever happy, and that I'm will to be more emotionally open with strangers online then I am with my own family- ever, it feels like pulling teeth to talk to them about how much I'm hurting... as I write this I'm listening to 'my little lion man' with the lyrics of 'I really fucked it up this time' and that is the story of my life.)

at this point Leo has been laying on his bed for the past three days in a near catatonic state. he's done. he doesn't even have the energy to slit his wrists, and that's probably the most pathetic thing about this.

it's like his body has just given up, like everything that has happened to him has taken on weight and is now physically holding him down to the bed. and his mind is filled with cotton balls.

Jason has tried talking to him but no matter how hard he tries it's like Jason's words enters one ear and before Leo's brain can proses them the words go out the other ear. Leo's homework is pilling up, his teachers have tried entering but Leo changed the locks after Logan died so if Leo decides to commit suicide then they wouldn't be able to stop him.

thankfully Jason hasn't let them in after Leo slightly shook his head. he can see how startled Jason is by Leo. and if Leo were him, Leo would have asked- no begged for a different roommate.

after the fifth day Jason quite literally dragged him out of the dorm saying "I don't know what happened but you can't sit around all day." Leo doesn't say anything, simply glaring at him.

Jason sets him down on a bench saying "I'll come find you for dinner, don't try going back inside till then." Leo, again doesn't respond. Jason stands there for a good few heartbeats before turning and leaving for class.

Leo sighs, rubbing his wrists together debating finding something sharp enough to slit them. but something catches his eyes, a girl with choppy hair trying to step around the school clique of stuck up snobs or popular girls for short.

they laugh at her when she asks them nicely to move. Leo pulls what energy he can together and gets up, calmly walking over to them and asks "you mind moving? your being a tad rude." they look him up and down before busting out laughing asking "what is the elf going to tell santa on us?"

the girl glares at them before grabbing Leo's arm and pulls him away saying under her breath "what a bunch of bitches." once the girls are no long in sight she asks "what's you name? I'm Piper." Leo slaps a fake grin on his face saying "hey, Piper, I'm Leo."

Piper smiles and sits down on one of the benches lining the side walks "thanks for trying to help." Leo gives a shrug of indifference saying "eh, not a big deal. they treat everyone like shit." she smiles asking "you wouldn't happen to know where the principles office is, would you?" Leo grins saying "it would happen that that is where I spend most of my free time." she laughs with a big grin saying "I think we are going to get along just fine."

the group watch the screen with smiles for the first time, Piper says "I completely forgot they compared you to an elf." Leo grins at her saying playfully "hey, I'm the best elf!" she rolls her eyes saying "if that's what you have to tell yourself, so be it."

Leo huffs saying "I don't have to tell myself anything that isn't true." she only shrugs "uh, hm, ok." they pause for a second before laughing, the others watching the exchange with smiles. Jason and Thaila glancing at each other before turning back to watch as Piper and Leo continue to banter. they all deserve a moment from all the depressing memories.

(A/N, ok, so I've been sick -not covid- just a bug or something so I decided to finish writing this, I know I'm dragging my feet writing the ending but can you blame me? plus, trying to write depressing stuff as your trying not to fall into a depressive bout, sucks balls. anyway please comment, I enjoy reading the few I get.)
