I watched as Mateo held Izzy back while Key, a girl I knew from high school, charged at her, ready to fight her. All while Izzy was pregnant and she was claiming to be.

I sat in the car completely confused at everything going down as I saw Gio's mom's car pull up beside directly beside his.

"Oh my god." I said to myself.

I couldn't lie and say I wasn't sick to my stomach, considering this was my first time seeing her face to face since what had taken place at the game a month ago.

Her presence instantly triggered me.

I watched as she got out of her car while Raf and Ant began clearing the stairway and grabbing Maribel who was crying loudly the. making all the huge group girls go down the block.

All while Teo grabbed Izzy and roughly dragged into the house.

I didn't know what to do as I sat here. But I figured I'd stay seated and mind my business until Gi came out because I didn't not want to be in this mess or in the presence of his mother.

I'd already expressed to him that I didn't want that when we first got here.

Breaking me away from my thoughts, I watched as Gio's lanky body came out of the house and his mom stopped in her tracks, wondering what the hell was going on. I watched closely behind his tinted windows as they began talking and he looked irritated with her but he knew he had to be the voice of reason in this moment.

"I don't know what's gon' on but that shit ain't none of my business." Was all Gi said as he snatched the door opened, looking directly at me.

"You good, baby?" He asked softly and I nodded, looking from him to his mom who was now looking into the car, looking directly at me.

Her face was screwed up as she did and I rolled my eyes hard, turning my head to look straight ahead as Gi sighed to himself.

"If you want to know what's gon' on, ma. Talk to them niggas."

"Me and my girl bout' to go home and chill." He expressed, getting into the car completely.

"Wait." I heard her say as she grabbed for the door.

"¿Madison tiene hambre?" I heard her say my name, pointing at me and I instantly became triggered as Gi looked from me to her.

"Nah, she good."

"We good." Was all Gi responded with before closing the door and starting his car..

"What did she say?" I couldn't help but to ask and he looked at me out of the corner of his eye, quickly glancing at me once he saw the worried look on my face.

"She asked was you hungry?" He went on saying and I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion.

That's what she'd had to say to me after everything? I thought to myself.

"That's random." I admitted and he nodded, scrolling his phone as he connected it to the radio.

"Yeah." He scoffed, shaking his head.

"My mama ain't the type to apologize. She think feeding you is an apology so if I'm guessing right, she feel guilty bout' what the fuck she did and said."

"Well-" I started but stopped and he looked at me with daring eyes.

"Nah."

"We don't need her." He spat, making sure that I felt the same while I looked at him with sorrowful eyes.

I didn't want him thinking that way. That was his mom, despite anything that we were going through. I'd already told him this but I guess it meant nothing.

"I don't care bout' them eyes, mamí."

"Shit too deep. It went too far." He went on speaking sternly and I nodded my head but I didn't completely agree.

"Okay." Was all I said as a loud scream broke out and both our heads snapped back toward his mother's house.

"Stop it, Teo!" Nat screamed out as Mateo dragged Izzy down the flight of stairs and everybody ran over to them, trying to stop him.

He continued to do so, dragging her by her hair as she screamed at the top of her lungs.

"Yo." Gi sighed deeply, getting out of the car again and I did the same, watching in complete shock.

Mateo dragged her all the way down the block while everyone screamed, telling him to stop. It took a long while but the guys eventually were able to get him off of her hair and help her up from the ground.

"Give that bitch to the team, she a fuckin' hoe." Mateo spat ferociously as he made his way back toward the house and Nat, Val and myself all walked over to Izzy once the guys were able to get her up from the ground.

"I hate him. I hate him so much." She cried hard and I felt so bad in this moment. I didn't know what to do.

"What the hell is going on?" Neighbors began coming outside of their house and asking questions, being nosy as usual.

"What happened, Izzy?" I couldn't help but to ask as we slowly walked her back toward the house.

"He's mad because I told him I'm glad this wasn't his baby." She spat and Nat shook her head while Val ran her fingers through her hair, trying to put it back in tact.

"Wait but is that true?" Val went on asking and I can't lie, I wanted to ask too but it seemed insensitive in this moment.

"No it's not true, Valeria-"

"—but his ass has some nerve to be angry about my anger- filled words., when I just found out about him and another bitch almost having another baby just last week!" She spat and I couldn't agree more.

She was distraught and all of my jealousy I'd recently had moments ago, had completely went away.

From the outside looking in, things seemed happy and she was getting everything I'd wanted with Gi but I didn't see the behind the scenes of things.

I wouldn't know what to do if he'd did that to me.

"Everybody in the house. Now!" Ms. Lucia spat, holding Maribel in her arms now as they began taking Izzy into the house.

I was close to following suit from the tone of her voice but that was short-lived as Gi roughly grabbed me, pulling me with him.

"Come on. We out, mamí." Was all he said as she looked from us to everyone else.

"Shit crazy." He spat as we got back into his car.
