The day off for the Mikaelsons was very much needed. After a good day of rest and recovery, and a good night's sleep, they were back at it in the morning better than ever with more focus. Freya had been working with her magic all morning, Rebekah and Elijah had gone tearing through New Orleans again, Kol was helping Katy, and Klaus was searching with Wesley. They ended up reconvening at the end of the day to report to the whole group.
"That force we were all feeling is definitely there still, but it's hard to tell if it's from Cas or the ring." Karoline spoke up as she settled herself into Elijah's lap while he sat on the couch.
"I agree. That ring is starting to harsh my juju," Kai said with an eye roll as he sipped on a beer.
"Well, I think they've caught on that Cas's location was found out, because the location started to bounce again. We're going to have to break through again," Bonnie spoke up with her arms crossed over her chest.
"As much as I hate to say it, I think it may not be a bad idea to-" Kol started to say.
"Don't you dare say what I think you're about to say. I am not getting his ass involved," Klaus pointed at his youngest brother with a glare.
"Nik, listen, he has a point. Marcel may be able to help us. I think it isn't the worst idea in the world to see if he would help us. I'm not fond of the idea either given the circumstances, but I think it's worth a lot to at least try." Rebekah pointed out.
Klaus pressed his lips together and debated with the idea. He was against it from a personal standpoint, and he knew his siblings were too, but they had a point. They were running out of options here. "I'll... talk, to him, I suppose."
'N-Nik...' It was her again. Cas. She was talking through the bond.
Klaus immediately sat up straighter and furrowed his brows. Her emotions and her pain hit him all at once like a truck. The bond had been unusually quiet and he hadn't been able to feel her the last day or so. But he felt everything now, and he was scared. 'Baby? Baby what's wrong?'
"Nik? What is it?" Freya asked her brother worriedly.
'The bond,' he mouthed at her and tried to focus a little harder.
Freya nodded and tried to focus on his aura using her magic.
'E-everything hurts baby... I-i can barely breathe-' Cas broke off to cough and immediately Klaus could feel the pressure in his chest that she was feeling. 'They... t-they did something to me, t-today...'
'I know, I can feel it. What did they do to you?'
'They think I have my magic still. But I don't. They... they shocked me with these weird electrode pad things, for hours! And god all the cuts... Fuck baby this hurts so bad.'
Klaus's heart shattered for her. 'Baby I know it hurts. I know. But I know where you are. I'm almost there. I'm going to come get you, okay? I'm working on it right now as we speak.'
Cas let out a dry laugh and coughed hard. 'So you finally got my location huh? That's more than I have.'
'You mean you have absolutely no idea where you are? At all?' Klaus looked at Stefan since he was closest and quickly gestured to get him a pen and paper.
Stefan nodded and quickly went into the kitchen to grab a notepad and a pen from the junk drawer and brought them to Klaus.
'Not a single clue. They haven't even told me anything. Literally nothing.' She sniffled and Klaus kept feeling his heart break for her. 'Baby they're gonna kill me... a-aren't they...'
