Important Author's Note

Hi everyone!

Okay so first and foremost, welcome to my story! This is the first story I've decided to publish in a long time and has been a labor of love for a long time coming. Before you begin reading I would like to provide some context to a few things.

This story is set in an alternate universe for The Originals and Vampire Diaries with certain characters being omitted, some original ones added in, and some plot lines being omitted and added as well. I have also added in the cast of Twilight and their characters, but they are not the Twilight version of vampires (which quite frankly make me want to gag, especially after my Twilight phase). They will be the TVD/TO version of vampires, also known as the-way-it-should-be-done vampires The plot of Twilight aside from the whole Volturi bullshit and whatnot is acknowledged in this story, but there are other added characters within the family.

The events of the final two seasons of The Originals are acknowledged such as Hayley's death and what happened with the Hollow, but I have decided to kill off Hope as well (please don't hate me I'm sorry 😭). I have also decided that Stefan Salvatore did not die in the final episode of Vampire Diaries and he is alive and well, happily married to Caroline. Kai is also alive as well because he is baby and I love him. Damon and Elena are also still vampires but they are married happily as well.

The portrayal of the Mikaelson family as well as other additional characters in this story may be a bit different as this is set in an alternate universe, but I want to keep it as accurate as I can. If anyone has any feedback for me, I would absolutely love to hear it.

One last thing. This story will be filled with mature themes- including but not limited to- drug abuse, violence/gore, heavy abuse, heavy angst, and sexual content. If any of these make you uncomfortable, I will be sure to leave a warning at the top of each chapter showing which ones contain these themes in graphic detail.

Anyways, I look forward to bringing my vision to life for all of you. I hope you all enjoy the characters, original and canon, and I can't wait to see what you all think!
