Chapter : 7 - Adrenaline.

He had trousled medium brown hair and blue-green eyes. His button nose flared as he had a wide grin pasted on his thin lips and I took another step back apologising.

"I'm sorry." I said and tried to move to the side but he immediately stepped infront of me again.

"Hey, actually it's me who has to apologise. And it's definitely not you." He said and I nodded.

"I'm sorry, Kashish." He said raised his hands and I looked at my shoes.

"It's fine." I said and tried to walk past him but he stopped me again.

"So, I'm Isaac. Isaac Hopkins." He let out his hand to shake mine but I looked at him and answered.

"I know." I said wanting to get away but he spoke again.

"Oh, so you do remember. You are Kashish Lutra right?" He said with my name sounding usual cringy in everyone's British accent.

"Yes." I muttered trying to find an escape from the hallway.

"It's so good to meet you, Kashish." He said and I didn't know where this conversation was supposed to go.

"I have to go." I said and tried walking away but he held my hand and a weird pain raised in my chest and I quickly pulled away my hand and gave a stern look.

"Kashish." I heard behind me and turned to find Kian standing and he shifted his eyes from me to Isaac.

"I've been waiting." He spoke and I looked at him slightly confused.

"I said I'll drive you home, you don't remember?" He said and I suddenly remembered and smiled.

"Yes. I was just coming to you." I said and walked to him and giving and glance to Isaac and waving him away Kian walked me to his jeep and opened a door for me.

"You don't have to." I said getting in.

"Please." He gave me a flirty smile.  And he got in too. And wearing my seat belt I noticed Celeste looked at me. More like burning me with her gaze and I ignored looking at my fingers.

"Shall we?" He asked and I nodded with a smile and he pulled out the car and I gazed from the window and met with a pair of intense dark eyes.

I tried smiled at him and my hand involuntarily raised to wave him good bye and he just gave me a little smile. It wasn't genuine like before but it was understanding. My own smile wiped off and I sighed resting my head to the window and the melodious tune started playing in my head and his intense eyes flashed in my head with his long skillful fingers dancing on the black and white keys.

"So, I guess you won't be late to the party considering you are right next door." Kian's voice make me snap my neck towards him and I nodded.

"I'll be on time." I said and a smile played my lips.

"So, I see you are not gonna be having dinner with us." Mom's voice said as I poured myself a glass of water. She sat on the emerald green sofa in the living room wearing a dusty pink dress with a glass of champagne.

"Yes." I said taking a sip of my water.

"May I ask why?" She sounded sarcastic as she put down the glass on the coffee table and held her gaze with a stone expression.

"I have other things to do." I replied.

"Such as?" She said tilting her head.

"Going to a party." I said and her eyes grew big.
