I lean against the counter of the kitchen pretending to listen to something Sam is talking about

I want to focus on his story but what Steve said earlier is distracting me, he wants me to stay away from Bucky but how could I do that, I can't just ignore him completely after what's happened between us

"—So if I was a Disney princess I'd be Cinderella cuz she broke Hah!" Sam laughs "What bout you"

"Huh?" I lift my head, i wasn't paying attention to anything he was saying 

"If you were a Disney Princess who would you be" He asks, throwing a cashew into his mouth form the bag of nuts he is eating. 

"Oh um.. what's a Disney Princess?" I ask. I'm too focused on the doorway to see if Bucky will walk through. 

"You- huh!- You don't know what a Disney Princess is?!" He looks like iv just murdered his mum. 

"I think your forgetting the fact she was locked up in Hydras tower for years with no Prince Charming to save her" Natasha says from her seat at the breakfast bar tapping away at her laptop. 

"I wasn't locked up in a tower" My brows pinch together, "it was more a castle since it was so huge"

Both Sam and Natasha burst into laughter while I stand confused "I don't get it what's funny" I say looking at them both. 

My eyes shoot up at Bucky walking into the room, "Buck you know what a Disney Princess is right?" Sam asks. 

"Yeah like Snow White" Bucky nods "Me and my sister Rebecca went to see it in 1938 when it first came out"

"See, the guy older than time knows what a Disney Princess is" Sam's hands are on his hips, shaking his head at me. 

Sam storms over to Natasha starting a conversation while Bucky strays over to me "So what happened with Steve"

"We need to talk" I say quietly making sure Sam and Natasha don't hear

Bucky huffs annoyed "What did he say to you" He crossed his arms over his chest. 

"I'll tell you just somewhere quiet" I say

"So he told you to stay away from me?" Me and Bucky were  both sat on the balcony chairs in our bedroom facing each other

I nod yes. 

"Are you going to listen to him?" Bucky's voice is laced with anxiety

I look to him, my mouth agape trying to find words to answer. "Bucky.."

He scoffs "Steve doesn't know what he's talking about if anything your better for me" He leans forward placing his arms on the table

"Buck I can't just go behind Steve's back after everything he's done for me" I lean forwards as well, reaching out for his hand. 

He glances down my wrist seeing the bracelet he bought me now missing, I inhale, removing my arm and placing it on my lap

"So this is it?" falls back into the chair, "we're finished before anything started?"

I nod looking down at my hands, feelings a pit at the bottom of my stomach filled with guilt

"No" Bucky shakes his head. 

I look up to him, my face filled with shock "what do you mean No?"

"I mean no, I finally get to touch you the way I want and show you how I feel and I'm not gonna let him take that from me" Bucky says through gritted teeth, he stands, pulling me up from my seat and smashing his lips onto mine. 

My hand glides to his chest where I can feel his toned abs underneath, my hand stops at his shorts, I reach to slide my hand underneath them when my wrist is gripped tightly by Bucky's hand, he tuts, pulling away from my lips

I try leaning up to his lips but he moves back with a smirk. 

"How much I love seeing you beg doll but I told Sam I'd go a run with him" He lets his grip go of my wrist "And be a good girl and put that bracelet back on"

"Yes sir" I smirk, Bucky's face lit up at the pet name as he places a gentle kiss on my lips before walking off

"See you at dinner doll" He walks out of the room.

I lay on the couch holding my book up while I read the words across the page. I couldn't focus, all i could feel were Thor' s eyes on me from across the couch "Thor please stop starring at me."  

"Apologises I was just wondering" He says as he shuffles closer to me "I heard some rumours that you and Barns don't particularly like each other but I do not understand after what I walked in on earlier"

I sit up looking around to make sure nobody is here "Yes me and Barns hated each other but it's different now"

"How so?" Thor asks, he's listing so attentively I'm expecting him to get a notebook out and start taking notes. 

"Well we sort of just grew to like each other then we grew to like each other a little more" I keep my voice low incase anyone hears, i feel like a mum explaining the birds and the bees to a fucking god. 

"So you love each other?" He asks. For the love of Asgardian help me. 

I struggle to find my words. "I-I mean it's a bit early we aren't even labelling what we are yet" My face is definitely red by now. 

"Hmm" Thor nods rubbing his hand over his chin "May I ask one more question?"

"I mean your gonna ask anyways so sure" I internally scream. 

"Why have I not to tell anyone of you and Barns love affair?" He asks, cupping his hands together. 

I inhale before answering "Steve isn't exactly- supportive, it's best if we keep it on the down low right now" I answer

"Well your secret is safe with me Lady Clementine" Thor smiles glancing down to my wrist "I love your war band thing"

"It's a bracelet" I lift my arms looking at the gold jewellery "Bucky bought me it actually" I say With a smile

Sitting at the dinner table, everyone talking and laughing over each other while I sat with my head rested on my hand being consumed by my thoughts

What's going to happen to me and Bucky if Steve finds out, what if Steve begins to hate me for going behind his back

Maybe I should just tell Buck we can't do this anymore. But the way he touches me and talks to me gives me butterflies and makes me so happy

Maybe we should just fess up even if it backfires on me, I can't lie to Steve, he's been there for me since day one

Suddenly there's a clash of a fork against a plate, everyone goes quiet looking to Wanda who is looking at me with Shock covering her face
