|Confession|

"Is everything okay Wanda?" Steve asks with knitted brows as he follows her eye line to me

Wanda's face was covered in shock -While mine was covered in fear, Her eyes wide as she stares at me with her mouth agape.

"What's.. going on?" Natasha looks between me and Wanda

"Wanda read Clementine's mind" Pietro answers biting into food attached to his fork not fazed unlike everyone else whose attention is drawn to me and Wanda "Duh."

"Damn Scout what fucked up shit were you thinking about to get Wanda like this" Tony laughs, taking a sip of his ice bourbon

Wanda looks over to Bucky then back to me, I then look to Bucky who's looking between me and Wanda, it clicks with him "oh..."

"Wanda..." I start

"You— you and— WHAT!" She points between me and Bucky in complete shock and disbelief

"Wanda use your words" Steve says like he's talking to a child who's still learning to talk

"No! Wanda don't use your words" I'm waving my hands around like a crazy person.

"YOU KISSED BARNS!" Wanda exclaims... TO EVERYONE

I groan, covering my face with my hands.

"You what!" Sam slams his hand onto the table in shock with a smile growing on his face, he bursts into laughter.

"Clint owes me $20" Natasha smirks drinking her red wine

"I thought we weren't telling anyone?" Thor nudges my arm.

"Wait Thor knew before me! Thor who we barely know and me your best friend!" Pietro jumps to his feet, making the chair behind him fly back "seriously Clem!"

"Holy Shit" Tony laughs out

I look over to Steve who is still processing what Wanda just said "Steve..", As i say his name he stands up from the chair storming out of the room. I jump up ready to chase after him when Bucky stands between us, placing his hand on my chest to stop me.

"I'll talk to him" Bucky walks after Steve.

"Clem I'm sorry" Wanda is behind me now.

"It's fine" I say softly giving her a small smile before walking over to the stairs away from the group

•Bucky's POV•

"Steve!" I yell, jogging after him into the empty kitchen "Steve i can explain" I say as i finally catch up to him

"So were you going to tell me?" He stops in his tracks abruptly "Or were you both going to lie to me?"

"We were going to tell you but then you told her to stay away from me" I can barely look him in the eyes, Steve scoffs "She looks up to you Steve, she didn't want to hurt you. Look I'm getting better, ever since i met her the nightmares have stopped, She is good for me"

"I'm not worried about you, I'm worried about her" Steve points behind me at the door to the living area "You heard what Wanda said she's lost a lot of people in her life you really think she is going to be ready for a full on relationship?"

"We want to make this work" I say softly wanting to keep calm "I want to make it work"

"And if it doesn't?" He asks "What then? Just walk around the compound ignoring each other? Or go back to hating each other"

"I'm gonna do whatever it takes to be with her, it doesn't matter the consequences because I want to be with her and spend every waking second with her" I say almost running out of breath

"And what if I don't approve?" He's jaw tenses with anger.

"Then fine but it won't change how we feel about each other" I say

Steve let's out a sigh glancing down to his feet "Does she feel the same way?" I nod in reply "Okay I give my approval but if it doesn't work out just know I told you so"

"Thank you" I breathe out, Steve looks to me with a smile before pulling me in for a hug patting my back

"Now" he says before pulling away "Go get your girl"

•Clementine's POV•

I sat on the edge of the bed with my head in my hands hunched over, overthinking everything

Steve's never going to talk to me again, Iv probable ruined him and Bucky's relationship then Bucky will hate me-

My thoughts come to a halt by the bedroom room singing open "Bucky" I breathe out as he jogs up to me wrapping his arms around my waist "What did he say" I ask

"It took a little convincing but he's okay with us" Bucky says into the hug

"Oh thank god" I sigh pulling away from the hug "I should go talk to Wanda"

"Okay then maybe later we can watch those movies you bought me?" Bucky says making a smile creep onto my lips

"Sounds great" I reach up placing a gentle kiss to his lips, I pull away to walk out of the room when he grabs my arm pulling me back into a deeper kiss

"Clementine" Bucky stop.

"Oh god what's wrong..." my heart sinks

"I just want to ask you something don't sound so scared" Bucky laughs lightly.

"Well you never call me clementine" I shrug

"Yes i do"

"No you don't, you call me Clem or Scout. Well you also call me doll which is new but I'm not complaining" I ramble on making Bucky laugh slightly "Sorry what were you going to ask me"

"I want you to be my girlfriend"

My face drops at his words "Girlfriend?" I say shocked

"Yes, I want to kiss you in public, i want to make other guys jealous when they see me with you, i want every bit of you to be mine" He says as he reaches up placing a hand on my cheek, normally i would move from his hand but instead i lean into it placing a kiss on his lips "Ill take that as a yes" He says

"Definitely yes"
