0.ovinnie and i have a long distance relationship, we've been inseparable ever since he got here a few weeks ago, and now he has to go back.
we eventually make it to the airport, and vinnie's warm, strong arms pull me into him.
they tightly wrap around my waist, and his soft but husky scent invades my nose. i nuzzle my head into the crook of his neck, drowning out the sounds of the busy airport and people trying to catch their flights.
i relax in his embrace, never wanting to let go of him.
"i miss you already baby" vinnie mutters against my skin, rubbing smoothing circles over my back with his hand.
i can't help but feel a tear slide down my cheek as vinnie goes to hold my face in his hands.
"don't cry love, i'll be back soon" his tone is warm and gentle, i couldn't be more in love with him. that makes me miss him more.
the pad of his thumb brushes over my cheek lightly as we wipes away the tears, pressing a loving kiss to my forehead.
"don't go, please" i plead, and vinnie's eyes soften. he connects his plump lips with mine, as he leans down to kiss me. his full lips wrap around my top lip, making my heart hammer against my chest.
he pulls away, his breath fans against my lips slightly.
"i'll be back before you know it, i promise" i entangle our fingers together, squeezing them tightly as his grip on my waist tightens.
his fingers graze over my tear-stained cheeks, before he steps away slowly.
"i love you" i mutter, a faint smile appears at his lips.
"no, this isn't goodbye. it's a 'see you later', okay?" i nod at his words, as he removes his hands from mine gradually.
"i love you, i'll see you soon baby" he turns to walk away but i pull him back in for one last kiss.
