i twirl the tiny daisies around between my fingers, sunlight shining upon my bare shoulders as i lean back against the blanket beneath us.

we're laying in a flower meadow, surrounded by bright, vibrant hues and busy honey bees.

i can't help but smile, meeting eyes with vinnie who sitting up on his elbows, a soft smile resting on his own lips.

"you look so pretty today" vinnie mumbles shifting on his side to gaze at my every move. his words tingle in my stomach, adding to the fluttering feeling i already have.

"you look the prettiest ever" i compliment honestly, vinnie does look ethereal.

shirt half undone, hair laying in a messy mop on his head, vinnie can't get any more pretty.

the sun casts a soft glow on his skin, highlighting his features.

vinnie's hands glide along the skin on my bare shoulders, caressing them slowly as he pulls me in so that my back is pressed against his chest.

"i love you" vinnie mumbles in between kisses along my neck, pushing my hair to the other side so he can access it properly.

the sun illuminating on my skin and the light feathery feeling of vinnie's kisses feels like pure bliss, i don't think this can get any more perfect.

"i love you" i turn to face him, leaning in to kiss him. vinnie's eyes flick down to my lips before he meets me half way, burying his hands in my hair. i lean into vinnie's touch, my heart swelling.

i feel a smile tug at my lips as i move to lie on my back, the petal of a tulip brushing against my arm.

after basking in each other's embrace some more, we lie on our backs, staring up at the fluffy clouds, pointing out every shape we can make out.
