chapter one

Ping! I get a message from my boyfriend Calum. "Hey baby still ready to go to the movies later xx can't wait to see you". I smile. "Yeah sure can't wait love you loads". This is the nicer side of Calum he has more then one side. He is always promising me things then always changing his mind.

Calum is in a band at school, with his friends; Michael Clifford and Luke Hemmings . Everyone in school is head over heels in love with them, and I'm the lucky one I guess . Ever since me and Calum became an item everyone has been involved with our private life, I guess that's what you get for dating a popular guy. But it really annoys me because we can never have any quiet time together and even if we try to (i mostly try) Calum always brings his 'gang'.

Ping! I get another message, "hey sorry I don't feel like watching a movie no more let's get coffee instead". I sigh knowing what he is going to say I text back." Who's coming? Will it just be me and you?"

"Na don't be stupid, obviously Mikey and Luke are coming, why would you think it would be just me and you?".

"No reason"

"You can be so stupid at times Rebecca like we can ever be alone".

I get fed up of him always ditching me for his 'gang' like am I not important to him does he really see then need to push me away. At first he is like I love you so much then another side of him is shown.

I wait half an hour then message back. "What time?". Instantly he replies. "About one". I put my phone on my bed and lay down I look at the clock, its 12:00 its not time to meet him yet. But I still get off my bed and put my boots on and my earphones in and leave the house.

I get the 67 bus to the town center and sit down I look around to see if I know anyone but I don't. I look outside the window as the bus speeds down the road. I see this boy just walking and looking lost I watch him as the bus waits at the stop sign, he just walks alone with his hair covering his face and slowly moving in the wind. He looks like one of those boys who don't hang around with Calum and look mysterious like they have a whole load of secrets. He walks around the corner, and goes out of sight.

I take my phone out my pocket and the bus starts to move again. I look at the time I now have half an hour till we have to meet.

We arrive in the town center and I get off and start to look around in the shops, I go into this one shop and see this top with a quote on it. 'Real friends stay close and others fade away' I fall in love with this shirt and I walk over to it and reach out to take it when a hand touches mine. I look up and see the boy from the bus; well outside the bus. I look into his eyes and I stare into his big eyes. I get butterflies in my stomach. "Sorry". He says in an Australian accent. "It's OK". I say and he walks off. I now have a weird feeling inside.
