Diluc: The Dove & The Phoenix Pt. 3

I apologize for the very long chapter. Once i start writing i get really into it, i'll try to make my stories shorter next time.

This is the last part, i actually really enjoyed writing this. Was difficult to come up with a few things but i somehow managed to imagine something. Hope you guys enjoy it as much as i enjoyed writing this.

Mondstadt, A city of freedom that lies in the northeast of Teyvat. I've only heard tales of the city, I've heard that the Anemo Archon visits the place particularly the tavern often for a drink. Strange sure, but it seems that he has a playful and cheerful vibe to him. Which was the very essence of the city.

"Mondstadt Welcomes you!"

"Greetings!"

The people chirped, it seemed like a town out of a fairytale. Happy go lucky people, stalls on the streets selling their produce. A lovely fountain stands at the heart of town. Diluc left for the signature tavern called Angel's Share, Leaving you with freedom of exploring the town. 

"Come see me later at the tavern, if you need me." Was what he said before heading off to the tavern.

"I could use a snack", you thought. Amidst the cobblestone streets, the street shops, a sweet alluring smell in the wind led you to the restaurant Good Hunter. 

"Welcome to Good hunter! How can I help you?"  The lady at the counter asked calmly.

you ordered one plate of sweet madame. As a child, your father brought home a plate of sweet madame after he returned from his adventures, although you were always given an amount enough to fill a rabbit's appetite, it was enough for you to develop a fondness for the dish. 

"Coming right up! Please take a seat. It'll take a moment." She beamed

This, Truly was so different from the world you grew up in, as you sat there patiently waiting for the dish to arrive, you were lost in your past memories however you quickly snapped out of it 

"That's all in the past, i should be here in the moment. Enjoying this peace and freedom." You muttered to yourself 

To your delight, the dish arrived at the table and for the first time you actually had an entire meal all to yourself. You savored each  bite, it's mild sweet taste lingered in your mouth along with the taste of the juicy tender chicken.

"Delicious!" You exclaimed 

The lady Couldn't help but smile at the joy you displayed as you ate.

Soon after you were done you decided to take a stroll around the plaza, you met some of the nuns, listened to the bards playing their tunes and you joined a few people who were praying to the anemo archon's statue. After all that, you decided that you had enough fun for today. Next place on your itinerary was Angel's Share Tavern.

"Back so soon?" Diluc turned his focus to you as you entered the tavern. You nodded, gently placing a hand on your stomach. "I had a great meal, walked around town, the liveliness  of this place is invigorating." 

Diluc chuckled, "It gets boring after a while." 

You shrugged, "i don't think i'll ever get used to this atmosphere."

"If you say so."

"Ah, Finally. After a long day there's nothing better than getting a drink here at Angel's Share." A Tall man with Navy blue hair, Tan skin and an eye patch stretched his arms as he strutted his way to a seat at the counter right infront of Diluc.
