Chongyun: Yin & Yang Pt. 1

Another long story about Chongyun this time! 

Who would have thought?

This story is another example of my weird imagination.

"Ugh, Why did I have the misfortune of ever running into you." She barked

"Is this really the best time to fight?" Chongyun rolled his eyes

An encounter with the female traveler in a dark cold cave caused a bit of a ruckus leading you two falling right into the hands of an ancient booby trap. You both found yourselves entangled in vines enchanted by dark magic.

The more she squirmed out of it's grip the tighter it got around her limbs and neck. She choked and grunted in pain.

"Don't be foolish. It's clear that the more movement you make the tighter it gets, it's enchanted to cause it's victims to die from asphyxiation."

She coughed, "Alright then Genius, ...Any idea how we get out of this? I am not going to die. Not like this..."

Chongyun chanted a prayer and grabbed a talisman, it's positive energy weakened the vines, stupefying it. They both squirmed out as much as they could, loosening the grip of the vines they didn't realize they were hanging above water.

"Uh..You do know how to swim correct?" Chongyun asked

"I Hate You." She said through her teeth

The water current was strong, no point in fighting against the inevitable drop along the waterfall. Fortunately, there were no rocks at the bottom of the waterfall.

You both reached for dry land, Chongyun stood up clearing the mess off his clothes picking bits of grass and twigs off his attire. The female traveler huffed, looking red in the face. She coughed as she gasped for air.

She was scowling as she looked at her wet clothes and pruny fingers. 

"Someone's cranky. Cheer up!"

"Oh yes, let's cheer up after almost being choked to death, running into a weirdo and and experiencing a 10 ft. Drop. Yeah, like that's gonna happen. " she snapped.

"I-It could have been worse." He mumbled

She shot a glare at him as she stood up from the ground drying herself and rinsing the water out of her long dark colored hair, Chongyun looked at the cool tea stream of water ahead and spoke with a hesitant tone.

"Uh..You're welcome by the way."

"What?"

"I saved your life, you could have died."

"Uh huh, yeah. Thanks i guess. Whatever"

He scratched his head and chuckled

She held the bridge of her nose.

"Wipe that smirk off your face, gosh your positive disposition is really irritating."

"Oh, well it's a condition i have. Though Let's not go there."

"Tsk, whatever." She dismissed

"Why are you here though? It's dangerous out here."

 "Ha! Danger is my middle name." She boasted

"Reckless more like it." he whispered under his breath.

 She laid her palms on her waist

 "i heard that Mister."
