"I've got a text!" Demi shouted from her spot on the sun loungers with Luke M and Angel. "Islanders, it's time to see who's made the headlines in today's challenge 'News Splash'. #clickbait #readbetweenthelines!"

Everyone had jumped up, excited for the challenge ahead. Although no one really knew what they were in for. The islanders headed down to the challenge area, Jamie and Shaughna the assigned hosts.

"Islanders, welcome to News Splash!" Shaughna announced, everyone clapping and cheering. The boys sat on one bench together while the girls sat opposite them. Two large containers filled with water and platforms for them to sit on in the middle of the challenge area.

"Angel and Callum, you guys are up first!" Shaughna announced to everyone, the couple taking their places on the platform.

Angel laughed at this, instantly knowing it was Mike. She watched as Callum was to give his answer first.

"Love Islands Mike finds 'special connection' with fourth girl as he's branded clever player," Callum told everyone his answer, laughter erupting from around.

"Really, Callum? Clever player?" Shaughna laughed. Just then, Callum's platform gave way and he was dumped into the water beneath him.

Shaughna revealed that the words Mike and Player was correct, leaving only one blank space on the board.

"Angel, any clue?" Jamie pressed, the spotlight fading from Callum pretending to drown only seconds before.

"Game player," Angel spoke confidently, Mike whistling making everyone laugh.

"Bit too confident there, girl," Mike joked, Angel shrugging innocently.

"Correct!" Jamie and Shaughna exclaimed, revealing the right answer. Next up was Natalia and Luke M on the platforms.

"Natalia, this one's for you," Shaughna said, Natalia thinking between the options of who it could be.

"Love Islands star Finn's mum in floods of tears as son stays loyal to Paige," Natalia said, making an unsure face as she finished.

Within seconds, Natalia was dumped into the water, not before letting out a squeal first. "Okay, Luke M?"

"Love Islands star Luke's mum in floods of tears as son stays loyal to Siannise," Luke M said, Siannise grinned happily as the statement was revealed to be correct.

It was then revealed that the public think Demi is a game player tho faked interest in Nas, as well as thinking Natalia used Luke M to get into the villa, not forgetting to mention that Mike was branded a snake after his reaction to Shaughna getting dumped by Ryan.

Things had now started to become tense, the headlines were coming with more and more drama, leaving some of the islanders annoyed or unhappy.

"It's a game," Luke T reminded, trying to lighten the atmosphere once Mike and Pricilla returned back to the benches.

"Shut up. That's not a game, that's taking the piss," Mike had said, shaking his head out of annoyance with the headline.

The next headline was that Molly and Luke M should couple up and win the £50,000, a headline that was light and nothing compared to what was coming.

Paige and Finley took their places on the platforms, waiting patiently for the headline to be read out.

"Love island fans predict heartbreak for Siannise Fudge after Luke T tells the boys she got blank in blank."

Siannise did not look happy, the girl trying to guess herself what Luke T would have told the boys. She was just as confused as Luke T.

"Kinky in hideaway?" Finn guessed with uncertainty, before being dumped into the container of water.

It was revealed that the word hideaway was correct, leaving Paige to guess what it could be.

"Stiff in hideaway?" Paige guessed before getting dumped also.

Jamie then revealed the correct headline, "Love island fans predict heartbreak for Siannise Fudge after Luke T tells the boys she got naked in hideaway."

A chorus of gasps echoed through the challenge area, Siannise left with a hurt and confused look on her face. Angel, sitting beside Siannise, wrapped an arm over her shoulder briefly.

Next up was Ryan and Molly to the platforms. Jamie held the board in front of him, reading it to himself first. "Oh, this is juicy."

"Love Islands blank is so clearly waiting to make a move on blank. Blank has to open their eyes."

Once Jamie had read this aloud, everyone was looking between one another, curious as to who this was about.

"Uh...Love Islands Luke M is so clearly waiting to make a move on Demi? Demi has to open their eyes," Ryan had guessed, just before being dumped into the water below.

"You got one right," Shaughna confirmed, revealing Luke M to be one of the three words.

"Love Islands Luke M is so clearly waiting to make a move on Angel. Callum has to open their eyes," Molly guessed before holding her nose at the thought of being dumped into the water. However it never came.

"Love Islands Luke M is so clearly waiting to make a move on Angel. Callum has to open their eyes," Shaughna confirmed, looking over at Angel who held a confused expression.

"What?" Luke M laughed aloud, along with a few other islanders. However, Callum didn't seem to find this very funny. His mind was racing as to why someone would say that, if he had missed something.

"Nah, that's not on." Callum muttered out loud, causing few of the islanders to quieten down.

Callum: I consider Luke M to be one of my best mates in here, but to hear that today has made me rethink everything

From across him, Angel tried to meet Callum's eyes, but he wasn't for having it, keeping his gaze on the headline that Jamie held.

"Really, I don't know why they've said that, mate," Luke M tried to reason with Callum, but it didn't go to plan as Callum scoffed in response.

"Obviously over something, mate," Callum fired back, causing an awkwardness to rise between them and anyone who heard.

Callum didn't enjoy the feeling of doubting his friendship between himself and Luke M, he also didn't like the thought of Angel maybe keeping something from him. Or perhaps not being fully honest with him.

"What the fuck?" Angel whispered to herself, looking over at Callum who made it his point to look anywhere but her.

However the headlines didn't stop there, as tense and brutal as it was. As it was revealed that Ryan, Finn and Nas had their heads turned in Casa Amor. And of course, this did not go down well with Paige.
