17| first recoupling

it was now time for the recoupling, everyone feeling the nerves and tension as us girls lined up in front of the boys.

Finley was up first and after a seemingly well prepared speech, he chose Paige. Connagh stood up from his place, his eyes looking across the line of girls before him.

"i would like to couple up with this girl because..." he started off and i looked over at Callum who kept his eyes on Connagh, "i've been attracted to this girl. for the short time i've spent here, i've seen her personality go with her looks," he said as i looked down before focusing back onto Connagh.

"i would like to continue to get to know this person. i don't want to leave this experience with regret by not taking any chances," he said and for the first time Callum and i's eyes locked.

"so the girl i want to couple up with is..." a long pause was added for effect as Connagh and i locked eyes for a few seconds, "Sophie."

a sigh of relief escaped my lips as the thought of Callum and i continuing to get to know one another crossed my mind.

but i felt bad for Connor as he and Sophie were getting on really well and now Connagh had stolen her away.

everyone was pretty much in shock at his decision, but now it was time for Mike. i had a smile on my face at his speech, feeling extremely happy for the two. he of course chose Leanne. Ryan then stood up, picking Shaughna after a short and sweet speech.

next up was Callum, a small smile on his face, "i would like to couple up with this girl because as soon as i came into the villa, she caught my eye straight away. she's absolutely stunning and every time we speak, it's effortless and easy. she makes me laugh constant and knows how to keep me on my toes. just recently i had grown some balls and told her how i felt, so i am excited to see where things go," Callum said, his eyes on mine the entire time.

"so the girl i would like to couple up with is..." his smile grew, as did mine, "Angel."

I walked straight over to him, giving him a kiss on the cheek and a hug before we both sat down.

"did you like my speech?" he asked as he rested his arm around my waist.

"it was good," i said and smiled up at him.

"i was shitting it," he said and held out his hand to show that he was shaking.

"you done great," i said making him smile before we turned our attention back to the recoupling. Connor stood up, an unreadable expression on his face.

"i find myself in this situation...i think i've been snaked out a little bit. people being dishonest, but yeah, i'm in it now so," he started off, "i would like to couple up with this girl because she's a good friend and i don't think she's had the best chance at finding someone..." he said as everyone waited on the girl he would pick.

"the girl i want to couple up with is...Siannise," he said as everyone clapped, everyone starting to feel the tension.

Nas stood up as he looked at Jess and Eve, picking Jess which seemed to be hard for him to do as he clearly didn't want to send anyone home.

the twins embraced one another in a hug, us standing up to say goodbye, "you done amazing," i said to Eve as we hugged.

the two shared an emotional goodbye, i couldn't help but tear up at the scene. we all watched Eve walk away, Jess turning to me as i wrapped my arms around her and let her cry into me.

"you'll be okay," i whispered repeatedly as everyone around us just watched, not knowing what to do.
