as Jess and Eve described their dates, i zoned out a little, it felt like they had just stolen my man. even though that wasn't the situation at all.
"so how're you feeling about it all?" Eve asked Leanne and Shaughna.
"shit," Shaughna answered straight away making me hold back a laugh.
"how was the atmosphere when we left?" Eve asked as Sophie spoke up with an amused smile on her face.
"obviously it wasn't nice, like the girls were probably expecting the boys to talk to them," she said to Leanne and Shaughna.
"and obviously the girls," Shaughna added making Paige and i look at one another as we held back laughter at the awkward situation.
"do you wanna speak?" Jess asked Shaughna as she shook her head.
"no, it's alright. we've had it now so," Shaughna said.
"is there anything you want to say?" Jess asked as Shaughna shook her head. "because obviously if you've got a problem i'd rather it be out in the open."
"yeah, we don't want anything to be awkward," Jess added.
"well it's obviously awkward changing beds and everything in day two," Shaughna pointed out as the twins agreed.
"if you want to go for a private chat or anything-" Eve said as Shaughna cut her off.
"there's not much to say, it's just a shit situation," Shanghna said before everything got quiet.
and when i say quiet, i mean i could hear the crickets. it was so awkward and there was so much tension, "hi, sorry to interrupt," Mike broke the silence making me sigh in relief, "Leanne, can i borrow you for a sec?"
"yeah," Leanne said as she stood up from the couch and walked away with Mike.
"when he says 'sorry to interrupt' when no ones speaking," i pointed out making Paige laugh from beside me.
"i'm sure Callum will come speak to you too," Siannise said to Shaughna as she stood up.
"there's no rush, to be honest," Shanghna said sarcastically before leaving, me standing up after her.
"i'll make sure everything's sweet," i said awkwardly before walking off and after Shanghna.
"my heads gone," Shaughna said as i entered the dressing room to see her sitting on one of the stools.
"about the whole Eve and Callum situation?" i asked as i stood in front of her. her eyes shifted from mine to something else.
"there's something else..." she said slowly and it wasn't hard to see that she was worried about something.
"what's up?" i asked as i sat on the stool beside her.
"i do fancy Callum, like a lot..." Shaughna said as she bit her lip, avoiding my eyes, "but my eyes have been wandering slightly."
"let me guess, you like Ryan?" i said almost straight away, seeming to have caught her off guard. it wasn't hard to put two and two together.
"i'm sor-"
"don't apologise," i said before she could finish, "it's the second day in here, you can chat and fancy anyone you like. i can tell by the way you guys speak to one another as well, i'm not surprised and definitely not upset," i said clarifying my feelings. "and plus, yous would look so fit together," i added making her laugh.
maybe the only reason i wasn't upset or bothered was because i was guilty for not being honest with my true feelings towards someone.
Ryan is lovely and i do fancy him, but maybe me being drawn to someone else shows that Ryan and i aren't really for one another.
but should i shoot my shot? because now Callum is with Eve i definitely don't want to be a home wrecker.
"i'm just so drawn to him, you know?" she said making me nod.
"yeah, i get it," i said, 'more than you know,' i thought, "honestly, go for it. Callum's getting to know you and Eve so you may as well," i added making her nod.
"yeah true, will this be awkward for you?" she asked, referring to her and Ryan.
"he came to me earlier and said that we should just basically not rule anything out, and now i know he was talking about you," i said making her look away from me guilty.
"don't feel bad, honest. it's the second day, we're not married," i said making her laugh and nod.
"yeah, true. i'm not telling Callum right now though, i'll wait till he comes to chat with me," Shaughna said as i grabbed a makeup wipe.
"too right," i agreed.

i jumped into bed with Ryan, the both of us agreeing to get to know one another but not completely closing ourselves off.
i turned around, Ryan moving closer to cuddle me, "night," he whispered making me hum in response as i was pretty tired.

the next morning i stood in the kitchen with Shaughna and Mike as they spoke about the situation of Callum not talking to Shaughna yet, me trying not to listen in as i made my tea.
"Angel, fancy swapping men?" Shaughna said jokingly as she looked over her shoulder at me.
"your already half way there, babes," i said making her laugh as Mike stared at us confused.
"wait what?" he asked, thinking about my comment.
"yeah, me and Ryan are open to get to know one another. Callum would know if he spoke to me last night," Shaughna said as Mike stared at us with his mouth agape.
"it's all fine. i don't mind because it's like the earliest of days in here so," i shrugged, as Shaughna nodded in agreement.
"i thought you and Ryan were sweet," Mike said, clearly still in shock.
"we were- we are. we both agreed that it would be stupid to rule anything out with anyone else," i said.
"so who're you gonna mingle with then?" Mike said making Shanghna turn her full attention to me.
"oh yeah, we haven't spoken about this," she said as i shrugged unsure, "maybe we should actually switch."
"i mean would it really be so bad?" Mike asked seriously.
Shaughna thought for a moment as i stayed quiet, "i mean if we were happy, then it wouldn't matter. boys will not come between us," she said making me nod in agreement.
"Callum's getting all the ladies," Mike laughed out as i took ahold of my tea and began to carefully walk away.
