I sigh and sit on the floor. "That was a pretty intense situation." Takeda says. "Yeah." I say. "I didn't know you had a daughter either." He says. Kageyama just looks down.
"Seriously (Y/n) is your daughter?" Hinata says. "She is and I treated her wrong. I'm a terrible father leaving my grandpa to take care of her. Her mom died when she was so young. She needed me and I wasn't there. I was at a hotel with a hangover." I say. I open my wallet and look at the only picture I have of her. (Just vibing together 😊)

"Back then she was so happy. The look on her face is so emotionless. I just did my own thing. I was never really at home. It ate at me not being there but something in me was just too nervous and scared. I just couldn't do it. So I just came around barely. When I found out her mom died. I couldn't stay. I couldn't take care of a baby by myself. So I decided to let family take care of her. My grandpa ended up taking her in. I understand her resenting me. I wasn't there for her." I say. "Maybe you could try even though it's hard. She does go to school here." Asahi says. "I don't know maybe." I say. (Jesus tried to help you 😔)
Your POV
It's now tomorrow and we're going to Nekoma to transfer me there. They give me a uniform and notify all the teachers that they'll be having a new student. I put the uniform on. "It'll take some time seeing you in a Nekoma uniform." He says. "Sorry this must be hard for you." I say.
"No I'll feel better knowing that you have someone who can watch over you. Besides I refuse to let him to break your heart. Plus I don't want you around that Kageyama boy. He hurt you a lot and I'm sure you don't want any of that either." He says. "True." I say. "I had a good run with Karasuno. They just couldn't handle the heat I was bringing in the end." He says. He can be intense at times. "Now let's get you to the gym. See if they're there." He says. "I'm kind of nervous." I say.
"Everything will be fine. You love volleyball. You basically begged me to play with you everyday. This will be like old times. Maybe even easier. We did beat them some times." He says. "You did have a strong rivalry with Nekoma." I say. "I don't regret it either." He says.
Time skip to the gym
The gym is open. My heart is pounding. "Relax." He says. I breathe out and feel calm. I remember coach Nekomata. They use to hang out a lot despite the rivalry. We go in and go to coach Nekomata.
"Ukai it's been awhile." He says. "It has been. I have a favor to ask of you." Grandpa says. "What is it?" He asks. He explains everything. "I see. Why not it'll be interesting. I'm sure she's quite the prodigy being your great granddaughter." He says with a smirk.
"You didn't have to go and say that she's already nervous." He says rubbing my head. "I can see why she'd be the smallest on the team. We'll just have to see." He says. He calls his team over. He explains how things will work for my try outs. I get paired with a small team.
Time skip
(Basically you're a mini Hinata but more informed and experienced.) "You did great." Coach Nekomata says. "How did it feel Kenma think you can get use to it." He asks. "It shouldn't be a problem." He says. "Looks like you made it right coach?" Kuroo asks. "Absolutely." He says with a smile. "Thank you." I say.
Time skip
I had gotten a uniform by the end of the day. I'm number 2. I put it on and it fits nicely. "You look good in Nekoma colors. Karasuno too probably but better in Nekoma colors." Kuroo says. "Thanks." I say.
"You've played volleyball before?" Yamamoto asks. "Not on a guys team. I did play on girls teams in elementary and middle school. It didn't feel right playing volleyball in highschool. Grandpa wasn't teaching anymore and the girls team wasn't doing so well. I did try though. They weren't like a normal volleyball team. They never really practiced and they didn't focus much. No one showed up. I'd be giving my all and it'd be like I was just doing warms ups by myself. I couldn't just take over the team or carry it myself. Plus going to nationals would just be humiliating. So within the first week I quit." I say.
"Well that sucks." Inuoka says. "Yeah it did." I say. "Well you're in luck now. We practice every morning and after school except on weekends." Kuroo says. "I'm glad this will be great." I say.
