Your POV
He's the sweetest man I've ever met. He's so good with kids and handling tough situations. I drink my drink looking at him from across the room. "You still have feelings for Sugawara?" Michimiya asks. My eyes go wide and I quickly look at her. "Ah so you do." She says with a smile. "Shut up Michimiya." I say.
"You need to confess to him. How long have you had a crush on him since ninth grade? We're 25 and 26 now. We're big girls who can use our words." She says. I sigh. "You know I regret coming to these stupid reunion parties. It's always the same thing over and over." I say. "Then change it." She says. "Have you always been this pushy?" I ask. "Maybe." She says. "My feelings are my business and not yours. If I want to keep them a secret I will." I say.
"So you're just going to keep them to yourself till the day you die?" She asks. "And then some." I say and drink. "Hey." I hear. I look and it's Daichi. "Hey missed you at the last torture event." I say. "You haven't changed a bit." He says. "Why would I? You haven't changed much either." I say.
"I'm fine with that." He says. He sits next to me. "So I have a heads up to give you." He says. "Oh?" I say. "Asahi and Noya are coming and Asahi has a few things he'd like to tell you." He says. "What like he wants to fight me?" I ask. "You are still so clueless." He says and rubs his face.
"Asahi is literally a gentle giant." He says. "True he is very gentle." I say. "Sounds lewd." Michimiya says. "So what are you gonna tell him?" Daichi asks. I'm still confused. "He's going to confess to you unlike you confessing to Sugawara." Miya says. "Seriously still. Just go talk to him. You talk all the time so it can't be that hard." He says.
I just look away. He stares at me and I know it. He stares harder. I just turn my head away more. "One....tw-." He says. "Fine fine I'm going." I say. "Seriously that's all it took?!" She says.
"He's very persuasive." I say. I get up. I just look his way. I can't move. "No I'm not ready I changed my mind." I say. Daichi picks me up bridal style. "I'll do it myself then." He says.
"Wait what are you doing?!" I say nervously. He walks over to Suga. I push his face trying to get out of his grasp. He licks my hand. "Ewww." I say and wipe it on his shirt. "Real mature." I say. "Well you left me no choice." He says.
"Suga." He says. "Yeah." He says in that sweet voice. "This belongs to you now." He says. "Wait what?!" I say nervously. "Too late captains word is law." He says. "We are not in high school anymore." I say. "Thanks I appreciate it." Suga says and takes me from Daichi.
"You're very welcome." He says and walks off to Tanaka and Kiyoko. "So you belong to me now?" He asks with a smile. "U-um yes." I say. "I'm glad because now I can tell you how I feel." He says. "I like you a lot (Y/n). I always have. I just never had the guts to tell you. I always thought about asking you out or what it would be like to date you. It was always nice when I imagined it. I'm sorry for not asking you back then. We could have been spending a lot more time together." He says.
I hold the back of his neck and kiss him. He's a bit shocked at first but kisses me back. "I'm glad you didn't." I say. "Wait what?!" He says surprised. "Because now we don't have to worry about gossip and childish things like that." I say. "Oh so then I can tell you honestly and like an adult that I like you and I'd like to take you to dinner." He says. "Yes and that'd be nice." I say.
He puts me down. "Do you wanna get out of here now? I'd like to leave before Noya and Tanaka reunite." He says. "Of course." I say. He takes my hand and we leave the reunion. I hold his arm as we walk down the street.
"I saw this cute café that you might like it's warm and cozy. Perfect for the winter time." He says. "Sounds nice." I say. "I thought maybe you'd like to go there with me some time. I never went because I wanted to go with you." He says. That is the cutest. "I'm glad it'll be nice trying something new with you." I say.
Time skip after the café
"It sucks how they didn't have that cake it sounded so good." He says. "We could probably make it." I say. "Seriously?" He asks. "Yeah I like to bake so it shouldn't be hard." I say. "No." He says.
"Huh?" I say. "Not tonight. We can save that for tomorrow. It's getting late and I have something in mind." He says. "Okay." I say. "Did you drive here?" He asks. "No my house isn't far." I say. "Then we'll take my car." He says.
Time skip
"Taking me to your house on the first date." I say. He takes my coat. "You've been to my place before it's no big deal." He says. He stops. "Unless you're uncomfortable we can leave." He says. "It's okay. I don't mind." I say. "Okay." He says. We take our shoes off and he takes me to his bedroom.
