I go pick up Haru from Pre K. He's a little ball of energy luckily nap time is at the end of the day.

I go into his class and he's sleeping hard. Luckily he doesn't sleep like his father. I miss him. I wish I didn't leave but I had to.
Time skip
He wakes up. "Hi mama." He says. "Hi baby how was school?" I ask. "It was good." He says. I give him his snack. He gets in my lap and eats it. I flip through the channels.
"Wait!" He says. "What's wrong?" I ask. "Go back I wanna watch volleyball pretty please." He says. I put it back on volleyball. He's so excited. "Uncle Hinata and Bokuto are gonna play tomorrow can we go please please please!" He says. "Okay okay we'll go. You have to behave though." I say.
"Okay." He says and watches excitedly. I set him beside me. "You are so messy. Don't wipe your hands on the couch I'll get you a napkin." I say. I get him a napkin. "They're going against the shaweenies." He says. "Oh." I say. That's his team. He likes him. He says he looks just like him.

If only I could tell him. I don't want to hurt his feelings. I don't want him to hate one of us. If I only could but I just can't. I wipe his mouth and throw the napkin away.
Hopefully it will be okay. "Can I see Kagemama." He asks. "....Maybe if you see him. I have some work to do you watch the game okay." I say. He nods. He watches so focused. I leave and wipe a tear away.
Time skip
It's time. Kuroo packs him. It's our day off and we're going out to eat with the jackals after this. Haru is so so excited he's basically jumping up and down in Kuroo's arms. "So excited today." He says. "I am I hope I see Kagemama." He says with a big smile. "It's Kageyama you still can't say it." He says.
He's too focused on everything else to pay attention. Kuroo looks at me. "How are you doing?" He asks. "I'm doing okay. I'm just hoping for the best." I say. "Well you can always count on your favorite duo to cheer you up." He says. I nod. "Yeah thanks." I say with a smile.
"So when do you plan on proposing to that sweet owl?" I ask. "Soon I promise." He says. "Good cause you two are the cutest." I say. "Mhm." He says. "You know you should give Atsumu a shot. He's a nice guy and loves this little rice ball." He says and tickles him.
Haru giggles. "Maybe I will." I say. "What do you think Haru do you like Atsumu?" I ask. "I love Atsumu he's one of my best friends!" He says. "We'll see then." I say.
Time skip after the game
He looked well. He's happy. I need to distract Haru from looking around. "Hey hey hey!" Bokuto says. "Uncle Bokuto!" Haru says excitedly. He runs up to him. Bokuto picks him up and spins around.
Haru giggles. "How's my number one fan?" He asks. "Uh he's my number one fan." Hinata says. "Hi uncle Hinata." He says. "Haru who's your favorite me or uncle hinata?" He asks. "Kagemama." He says. They look a bit surprised at the mention of his name.
They look at me I just looked down. "How mean Haru I'm heart broken." Bokuto says. He's surprised. "Don't cry Uncle Bokuto." He says and holds his face. "A hug will help." He says. Haru hugs him. He's the sweetest baby ever. He kisses his cheek.
"Aw thank you Haru I'm all better." He says and kisses all over his cheek making him giggle. I look at Kuroo. He just smiles. "Hey hun." He says. "Hey babe." Bokuto says. Kuroo kisses his cheek. These two are meant to be together.
"I need to go potty." Haru says. "Okay let's go I'll see you in the parking lot." I say. Bokuto let's Haru down. He takes my hand but burns off. "Haru!" I say and chase after him. "Haru stop!" I say running faster. He moves through the people so easily.
He stops all of a sudden. Then runs. I catch up to him and he's hugging someone's leg. "Don't just go hugging strangers...legs." I say. It's no stranger it's Tobio. "(Y/n)." He says.

"Tobio." I say. I look down at Haru. I pick him up. "Mama." He whines. "Mama?" Tobio asks. He looks at Haru. I look away. "You..." He says.
"I wanna be with Kagemama." He says. "No Haru it's time to go." I say. I turn away. "Wait!" Tobio says. I turn only a bit. Kuroo catches up. "Jeez I'm not as fast as I use to be." He says.
He looks up. "Oh shit." He says. "We need to talk." Tobio says. "Kuroo take Haru to the car I'll be right there." I say and hand him to Kuroo. Haru whines and squirms. "You promised you'd behave." He says taking him away. I look back at Tobio.
I sit down on a bench. "So." I say. "Is he?" He asks. "Yes you're his dad." I say. "Why didn't you tell me?" He asks. "I couldn't do that to you." I say. "Why not?" He asks and sits next to me.
"We were kids. You were stubborn and had dreams. I didn't. I got my diploma and went to work. It was tough yeah but we're fine. I didn't want to hurt you or ruin your future you had planned. Besides with the way you were so stubborn I'd just hurt myself more. So telling you I was moving was easier. You've come so far and I'm happy for you. I'm glad that I chose this path." I say. "But I'm not." He says.
