Pacing through the top level of the factory you thought on what you where going to do, what you where going to say to him.

Getting to know him you've learned that he's a really fun and interesting person, the reason why you where angry at him was that he lied. You weren't even bothered that he experimented on humans but you where more scared of being turned into one of his messed up creations; that wouldn't make sense. Why would you think he'd mutilate you if he enjoyed your company, because he's done it to others humans before doesn't mean he'll do it to you.

But there's still a small chance he'd might.

Only time will tell.

You decided to go and sit in the last room on the first floor, the one with the trap door in the corner. Grabbing a foldable metal chair you placed it next to the kind desk and sat on it, contemplating what you where going to do.

Soon enough a speaker in the room turned on, it was one of those speakers you'd find in schools where they'd have announcements on. The next thing you heard sent a small shiver down your spine.

"Darling, why are you up there?" It was his voice, Karl's voice, sounding all hurt and pretending to be upset.

With every fiber of your being you said confidential, "Karl, we need to talk. Can you please meet me up here?"

After a long moment of silence he just agreed, you sat there in silence until he arrived.

Not uttering a word he pulled up a chair to be opposite to you and sat down, he took off his sunglasses and just looked at you with worry in his eyes, "Is this about my army? I understand that your angry at me not telling you but I didn't mean to-"

You raised your hand to cut him off, "I'm... I'm just angry that you didn't tell me." You got up off the chair and pace a little as you continued, "I have trust issues and I feel a bit betrayed, yes in the back of my mind I doubted what you said but... I fell really hard for you, I-"

"-Is there anything thing I can do to make it up to you?" Now Karl cutted you off, suddenly standing up. He approached you and wrapped you in his arms, loose and not constricting.

"Just don't lie to me again, okay?" He nodded at your request and whispered and apology into your ear, making you melt at his touch.

"Thank you for not getting mad at me." You whispered in his ear, you remembered when you where upset with the actions of your parents they'd turn it on you. Making you feel less than dirt, less than everyone and inhuman.

He slowly pulled away to add a bit of distance but still lightly hugging, "Why would I be mad? I did something wrong and you didn't like that. Also next time you're mad at me can you wait for me at the room? I almost had a panic attack when I couldn't find you."

Your eyes widened, he was scared that he couldn't find you. He was so worried about you that you went to apologise but he covered you mouth with a hand, "You don't need to apologize for anything, think of it as revenge."

You let out a small chuckle at his words, he joined in half way through. Then you found yourself leaning back into him and closing the gap he made. Closing your eyes you stood there in absolute bliss and you just listed to his heart beat. It was so nice to find someone that cares about you and wouldn't villainize you. No shouting and no tears, the best was to resolve an issue.

Looking back up at him you thought about your future, if you left this place you'd either die or just run from your parents. Now this argument has made you realise that this place, this man was home. Your home. Yes people have been destroyed and recreated by this man's hands but that didn't matter, he was the guy you wanted to stay with. Your answer permanent if you say it now.

"I want to stay with you but I would like some ground rules." You stated, he looked into your eyes and just said 'anything'.

"Okay, first of all... No more lies."

"That's a given." He cut in, giving off the vibe he'll be cutting in after every condition.

"Secondly I'd like to not be bound to the factory, I'd like to go outside the grounds sometimes."

"Okay but we can't do it everyday, also I'll need to be with you for safety reasons."

"Of course." You agreed and continued to your last request, "And lastly, I'd like to do more things around here. I don't want to be stuck doing one thing all the time."

He nodded, "Well I'll try to find work for you but I can't guarantee that everyday I'll give you a new task, some tasks will take days and I'll need to teach you how to do certain things for certain tasks."

"I'm tired." You smiled, pulling away to let him put his sunglasses on. He held out his arm and you gladly took it, he took you back deep into the factory back to the bedroom.

Taking off your gun holster and hanged it on one of the four posts of the bed, scurrying in to the sheets and laying your head on the soft pillow. As you did this Karl only noticed your newly designed gun and pulled the pistol from it's holster, "Beautiful, you have such a keen eye for design."

Tiredly giggled you responded, "Of course, I'm an art student after all. I took both Art and DT in secondary school."

"I can see that, great job sweetheart. Now get some rest, I think I have an idea on what you can do tomorrow." With that he kissed you on the head, placed your gun back into it's holster and walked to the couch, sighing and laying down.

Snuggling into the sheets you fell deep  into a pleasant slumber, feeling much more better about life.
