While on the way to the Forge you decided to stop by the spare parts closet to see what you could do.

Opening the door you went inside to find some broken treasures to help you inspire your creativity, looking around you found an old radio. The radio reminded you of a minor dilemma you never solved during the first few weeks you where here:

Your music player has died and all the plugs around here didn't fit with your charger. You missed listening to your favourite songs especially while working alone in the Forge, but it was okay. Karl was extremely comforting but sometimes you just wanted to plug in and bang your head to the beat of drums. It was ages since you listened to some music so you thought this would be a great project.

Taking out the radio and a few spare parts you took them to the forge and started to work.

Dissecting it you found that some pieces have rusted and some wires have been cut, looking at the parts you brought with you some where not suitable for the radio. So you left the forge and went back to the Parts Closet to get more parts, after coming back you removed the old parts and replaced them with the new ones and tried replacing the wires.

After finishing you realised your missing one thing: batteries. All around the forge you looked for batteries and couldn't find some, even going back to the closest to find there was none. Even going through some of the other rooms you still couldn't find any batteries.

Because you didn't know what to do you decided to just sit back down and stare at the radio, your new fixed piece. Looking at the back of the radio you saw the small compartment and tried to remember if you checked the compartment for rust.

Opening it you looked inside, inspecting it for any rust or any signs of decay. Nothing, that's good. Looking closer you noticed that the springs inside just in case there was a bit of rust.

When your finger traced over the surfaces of one of the springs while examining it you felt a little sting. Pulling your finger away you thought it was a static shock, but it wasn't.

That little shock caused the radio to turn on but only for a brief moment, then dying once again. Did... Did you do that?

Looking to your two index and middle fingers you wanted to try something, so you placed all four fingers on where batteries where supposed to be slotted onto and then zap. A shock of electricity left your fingers and rushed into to small radio, the radio then shot to life in your fingers.

You where in complete shock, awe and surprised that you had electric powers. You where so consumed with excitement that you took the radio and ran to the room Karl was working in, quickly opening the door you found he's just finishing his work.

"Hey Sweetheart, where's the fire?" He jested as he watched you run in like it was the end of the world, he sounded and looked way more relaxed then when you last saw him.

Ignoring his little sweetheart comment you held out the radio to show him, he took it and complimented your craftsmanship. "Great job, it actually works."

"Without batteries." You commented which caused him to look at the battery compartment, surprised to see it was running without batteries, "How did you make it run? Did you put in a alternate power sauce?"

Twiddling your thumbs and looking around smug without looking at him, "You could say that."

Karl raised his eyebrow in curiosity, he was now intrigued on what you've done, "Okay, how is it working?"

You decided to play with him a bit more because you where enjoying this too much, "Well I'm electrifying, I thought you knew that."

He now knew you where toying with him and he stood up from his seat, he was now more interested especially with your added annunciation for the word 'electrifying'. He wasn't sure how to interpret it but he'll get to the bottom of it, "Well if you won't tell me then I'll have to dissect it myself."

"But I just told you how I did it."

Karl thought about it for a moment until he realised what you meant. Looking at you in shock he spilled out, "You have electric abilities."

"Yes."

He blinked in surprise, "Can you product it or can you manipulate it?"

Instantly you answered, "I can produce it. I've only just discovered it so I'll need to practice more."

Karl's face changed from surprise to extreme excitement at this news. You remembered when you first tried out your new abilities and how Karl looked so disappointed that it didn't go his way but now. Now he was completely estatik that you had abilities that weren't physical like your robotic heart or your endoskeleton.

He looked over to the clock on the wall and cursed himself, saying he would be late if you continued the conversation.

You followed him into the 'living room' where his hammer resided near the couch, then you both went up to the higher level to retrieve his hat and sunglasses from the half destroyed room. After picking them up and placed them in their designated places he realised he left the fake notes and Miranda's notes back below, "Fucking hell!"

Lucky enough you remembered to grab them before you left the room, "Looking for something?" You asked as you held out the two items out in front of you.

Before taking them Karl placed his hand on your neck, moving it up to caress your cheek. "I can always rely on you." He kissed you on the forehead and took the two paper documents.

"Have fun-"

"How can I have fun?" He chuckled but also slightly barked at your little comment.

"Think about me and you'll be fine." You responded as you kissed the tip of his nose, causing him to blush.

Wait, he's the one blushing?! Your the usual blushing mess, perhaps your rubbing off on him. If you remember correctly this was the first time he's ever blushed. You really made him blush, what a twist.

"Okay, I'll do my best to think lots about you." Responding to your response and deciding to follow it up with a question, "Will you be thinking of me while I'm gone?"

"I always think about you." You answered honestly and without hesitation. He confessed the same thing too and then decided to leave, only because he was going to be late. You waved him goodbye after you two walked to the gate and said your goodbyes. He kept waving back until he left your sight and you left his.

Even though he's just left you missed him a lot. You hope that the meeting goes well.
