Scrapped Metal {Karl Heisenberg X Reader}

The Idea

For the last few weeks you and Heisenberg got to work, working on new parts for the army and tinkering with old ones. Only stopping for food or short breaks, Karl would insist on you taking more breaks but you'd just work as much as he does.

You enjoy the hard work, growing up you had it easy. Never had to worry or work and it made you bored that the only stuff you did was study for subjects you'd never need, not as fulfilling as the work you do here.

The long hours of working with heat, metal and electricity made you feel alive. Also talking to Karl during work was really fun, you learned more about him and how he acts. He's extremely funny and has a great sense of humour. Unfortunately he also has a short temper, he doesn't like being picked on especially by Lady Dimitrescu. You didn't blame him, she wasn't very nice when you first met her.

Today was your day off, Karl forced you to have today off because he thinks you're overworking yourself. Which is kind of true but your still thankful for the time off. At the moment you where on the lowest floor of the factory, at the bottom of the cave where the river is. Yes it's a bit dark down here but you have a flashlight down here and there's a lift that'll take you back up, so everything's going well.

It's been a while since you've heard the sweet sound of silence, the only sound around being the water beside you. The sound from above extremely distant and drowned out. It was nice, very nice.

Been a few weeks since you've been alone but it's nice to just relax and listen to your own thoughts a while, your more happy that Karl didn't mind you having time to yourself. Your just happy that he understands or tries to understand.

After a while, probably half an hour you heard a voice from above. It was Karl, "Can you get up here? I have a plan!"

Looking up you can see him up on one of the platforms, leaning over the railing and looking down at you. Standing up you shouted back that you'll be there soon and headed for the elevator, the doors opened and you stepped inside. Pressing a button the elevator jolted upwards and started to go up to the higher floors.

The elevator then jolted as it halted at the floor you requested, slowly the doors opened and you walked out of it. Looking around you when through the corridor of rooms towards where Karl asked you to talk to him.

After a few minutes you found yourself on the metal platform held in middle of the underground cave, where Karl was leaning against the metal railing with a thick cigar held between his fingers. Whenever Karl smoked he'd always do it while you weren't around, this was because you hated the smell of tobacco and he agreed to do it away from you.

Karl noticing you standing there and pulled out a little metal contraption from his pocket, it was one of those things that cuts the ends of cigars so the cigar could be used later. He cut off the end that was burning and stomped on it, making it divided into smaller pieces and fall through the gaps in the metal walk way. He put both the cigar cutter and cigar into his trenchcoat pocket, smirking at you as you asked what he needed you for.

"Let's go upstairs, It'll be best if we talk there." He replied, holding out his hand you took it. He lead you through the normal way you'd get to the ground floor of the factory, leading you to the room with the corkboard and you sat down on one of the metal chairs.

He started to pace as he thought for a moment and then stopped in front of you, "I had an idea but it's only going to work if you're on board."

You folded your legs as you waited patiently for him to continue. "I was thinking that we trick Miranda into making you one of us." His voice was slow and cunning, the idea was pretty interesting especially since this could be interesting.

"Okay, how would I become 'one of you'?" You asked in a playful tone, acting like this was a little bit ridiculous.

Karl rolled his eyes and kneeled down to you, "What'll happen is she'll put a piece of the Cadou Parasite inside you, this will cause you to stop ageing and gain abilities like us. The only down side is that when you're killed your body with turn to dust and you'll be bound to the village forever."

"But didn't I bound myself to this place when I agreed to stay?" You giggled as your face was close to his.

He chuckled at the comment and stood up, going back to the bored and looking over it, "All the others wouldn't betray her so I need you, two's better than one."

"So... The plan's basically I get powers so we'd have an easier time fighting for control?"

He used finger guns and said: "Exactly!" With intense excitement.

Smiling at his childish actions you just told him your in and what you need to do.

He responded but telling you more about the process and how you'll be in a coma from a week to a month as your body will change drastically due to the parasite, once waking up you'll need to learn what your powers are and how to control them. Karl also explained that's only the easy part, the hard part is convincing Mother Miranda to make you apart of the 'family'.

"That's going to be hard unless you have a really good reason for wanting to turn me." You stated, thinking about the ways you two could get around this.

Karl leaned against the desk and mumbled, "Yeah that's going to be hard."

In a flash your mind came up with a funny idea that made you giggle. Karl turned to you and asked what was so funny and you just spilled it out while still giggling, "Well you could always claim that I'm your bride!"

After that he burst out laughing for a while, soon you both calmed down and Karl thought it over.

"Actually... That's not a bad idea."
