Izzys listening to her music as she leaves home
"By family, I'll miss you" izzy saying as she leaves to her car
"Don't make any vampire friends, now, you here me" mother sounding serious
"I can't make any promises" I say chuckling as I open my car door
"Your mother is serious" said father
"Okay" I say uncomfortably
As I drove off to college I kept thinking what my mom said, I don't have nothing against vampires? They do! Not me! But no, they won't notice that. And if everyone in the hole wide world disagree with each other, why have a college with vampires and werewolves together? Riddle me that! At 7:35pm I get tired because I never drove this long without no breaks. It's hard. So I stop at a hotel, and I call my mom to say I'm okay, everything is okay, I'm fine, I'm safe. I tell my mother, but if I be honest I'm not okay! I have mixed feelings second guessing myself. Do I need help? I ask myself. your smart I tell myself.
As I pull in a parking space I see some one or something? But I think it's someone. they get closer and closer, and of course I feel like I'm going to past out! But I don't. it's Marci.
"You almost gave me a heart attack" I say
"Oh?" Said Marci a little sad
"I'm sarcastic" I tired to light the joke but yeah it worked out so well
"I'm just going to go. Bye I'll see you later"
"I know Marci isn't much a talker anyway. I'm actually glad she kind of left, because our conversations always goes silent then awkward"
The next day
I get up at 8pm something I think I really don't remember. I leave before my mom can call, whenever she called I'd always say I'm driving and she's against texting and calling while driving, so score 1 for me?
"I realized that people in my high school are all fakes? I know sounds mean to say, but truth be told. Fakes! And now.... going to be in college with them? Why? Don't ask? I don't really know the answer. Ever time I talk to my so called 'best friends' they don't listen or let me in on things. And they always ask "why won't you talk? Huh?" And I think to myself the nerve of some people. I HAD to be friends with them because only 6 girl werewolves were in that school me Marci and the rude,mean,Populars they're a group of 4! If you haven't guessed?
I finally got to the college got my dorm, I walk in I SEE someone who?
"Hey" I say to a random person
"Hey" SHE turned around
"What's your name?" I asked her
"Megan, what's yours" she asks back
"Izzy.... I want to clear the air and say I'm a werewolf" I try to say bravely
"Oh" said Megan with shock
"Oh I'm a vampire" she had a worried look on her face when she said that
"No worries, ( I ) as ME! Don't hate your kind?" That sounded weirded than I thought it was going to be I say to myself
"I don't either but my parents do? Does yours?" She asks still with a worry face
"Same" I say
"Really" said Megan with a sign of relief
Then we talked more and got to know each other
