"Do I have to go?" Spencer grumbles, forming a slight pout on his lips.

He crosses his arms over his chest and sinks further down the couch, his exact expression lingering.

He refuses to give in.

"Come on! You were the one that wanted new friends, where's that energy now?" Aurora insists, tapping his nose as a giggle leaves her glossy lips.

For the past half hour, her persistence in bringing him with her to the bowling center has impressed him.

Jasmine and Leilani already believe he's going, and Aurora doesn't wish to tell them that he didn't go because her best friend is as reluctant and stubborn as a mule.

Spencer huffs, he lowers his eyes at a nearby fuzzy blanket and fiddles with it. "Maybe I'm not ready... Yeah, that must be it."

"Good night!" he says while he covers himself with the blanket, laying down on the couch to shift into a fetal position.

Aurora slaps her hand against her forehead but chuckles at his unusual nature.

"It's not nighttime!"

She giggles as she tugs the ivory-white blanket away from his body. But his hands grip it before she has the chance to take it away and he tries to pull it over himself again.

Aurora doesn't allow him, she continues to giggle as they play tug of war with the blanket.

Eventually, she gives up, releasing her hold on the blanket with an exaggerated sigh.

He's so childish it physically cramps her hands.

"Please, just come with me! I know you'll like Jasmine! She's very pretty and is somehow very badass... And Leilani is also nice, so, please!"

She practically begs Spencer to accompany her, watching him uncover himself and sit up with the fuzzy blanket covering his lap.

Spencer wiggles his eyebrows. "You seem to like Jasmine."

A curve of a smirk spreads across his face, and she flushes red at his words.

"Don't change the subject!" she retorts with a smile, throwing a cushion at his head.

"Ow! You rude Weiner dog little shit cake!"

Aurora snorts at his odd insult but urges him in silence when she raises his eyebrows at him.

He stays still, slowly blinks at her, and spins his body around to turn on the television with their remote control.

She sighs and stands up to be in front of the television, her hands on her hips.

"Do I have to drag you by your ear?" Aurora hums, moving to block his view whenever he leans his head to either side of her body.

"Please, you wouldn't be able to even reach," Spencer chuckles, still attempting to watch the television.

Another typical height joke.
