TW: semi-violence and intrusive thoughts. This chapter is personal to me in the way that I love the ocean and the emotions I felt while writing was so real, raw, and intimate.
If you feel uncomfortable in any form, you have every right to skip over the scenes or descriptions.
I love you, angels, and remember you are loved and are good enough for positive things in life.

It's been days since Aurora told Spencer she slept with Louis, the person he disliked, now despises, his number one enemy in dramatic fashion.
So he proceeds to treat her like a stranger in their own house.
They rarely bump into each other in the morning when they get up for work, but once he comes back in the evening, he cooks and eats in his room and stays there almost all day.
No doubt he's one hundred percent avoiding her.
But even when he cooks his diverse meals, he makes enough for both of them so there's always left over for a plate for her.
And Aurora stays thankful for his small gesture since cooking isn't one of her passionate specialties, she much prefers his delicious cooking over hers.
However, she would be lying if she said that not seeing Spencer much around the house or talking to him like the best friends they are doesn't burrow an ache deep in her chest.
She doesn't like it when people are mad at her, so when she's fighting with someone she truly and deeply cares about, it spirals loneliness within her poor soul.
Aurora quickly slices the freshly washed strawberries into heart shapes since Spencer waits for her on the couch while he scrolls through his phone.
Doing the minimum to talk to her ever since they were invited to the group's monthly bonfire at the beach again.
And she learned that last month they weren't invited because of the whole situation between Louis and Spencer.
Regardless, Spencer screenshotted Harry's message from the group chat they're both in and sent it to her.
No other message, no emoji, just the screenshot.
That was the way he told her he was going.
In another situation, it would be amusing, comical, and lighthearted.
Not in this one, it kills something pristine inside her heart.
After cutting the last strawberry on the light wooden chopping board, she chucks all of them into a hot pink Tupperware and grabs the smooth milk chocolate dip in a matching container, courtesy of Spencer.
She grabs her beige tote bag and with a wordless look over at Spencer, he stands up and grabs the car keys and they leave.
Spencer puts the Bluetooth on and blares his angry playlist during the car ride to the coast.
