While walking through the corridors to the outside, you had told what happend to Lily.

"Oh I'm really sorry Y/N... What a jerk..."Lily said while petting your back to confort you.

"I'm not suprise since he called you 'that' too..."you said with a weak smile.
"But what I can't understand is why.."

"What do you mean by 'why'?" Your redhead friend said. "A lot of slytherin are like him! That's not New...I think they have a bad influence on Severus too..."

You were looking down lost in your thoughts. "I don't know...but I think there is much more behind all of this.."you said worried" But I don't want to look deeper in that...It could just hurt me more."

Lily smiled warmily at you:" You're right Y/N!Don't let that get over you!"

You smiled back at her. You were heading to your next lessons together. It was a lesson about animals from the magical world.

You were both excited, you wondered what kind of creatures you would know about today!

"Where is Hagrid teaching his lesson today??"you asked very happy.

"It is at the Dark lake!I'm so curious about it!!" She replied.

Your smile was immediatly vanished away and a extremly worried look had remplaced your happiness.
The "Black Lake"? That's Bad, you knew that they were mermaids in there and you didn't wanted to go near the water that could be dangerous for your identity.

Only Dippet and Dumbledore knew about your mermaid side. You wouldn't have like to much teachers knowing about it.

"Is everything alright Y/N?"Lily asked, noticing your tension.

"Yeah! I think I'm just a little tired but everything is alright !" You said forcing a smile.
You didn't wanted to worry much Lily with your business. And you didn't wanted people to think you were running away, affraid of Riddle, after what happend previously.

You were now seing Hagrid with the rest of your class already at the edge of the lake. You looked at the water with fear, and again you hided behind your glasses and your hair.

Some people were looking at you, whispering. Probably because of Riddle but compared to Hagrid's lesson, you didn't care what they were saying.

Even if they were more than 3 meteres between the edge and you, you were scared. You couldn't took off your eyes from the water, making sure it couldn't touch you at all. Even a single drop.

You were all standing with the rest of the class, facing Hagrid and the Lake. It was huge, so much that you couldn't see what were in the horizon. It was really cold too you were wrapping your scarf thighter aroud your neck.

Riddle was behind you, not so far. Even if he tried not to, he was looking at you with the corner of his eyes. You didn't noticed as you were focused on the water and on what Hagrid will talk about.

"Hello everybody, I'm happy to recieve you there in such a beautiful and mysterious place.."Hagrid said bringing everybodies attention to him.

"We will talk about some creatures that live in those water. Especially one kind because tomorrow is full-moon." He pursue happyly and clapping on time his hands.

Your heart skipped a beast. You knew what he was about to present. In one reflex you took your book about the magical creatures and all was confirmed.

You looked at the pages about mermaids and you frozed. 'Why it has to be this topic'...you thought to yourself.

Fortunaly, It was only about the other kind of mermaids. The mermaids that were more 'wild' as you could say. The ones that weren't half human like you and that didn't came off the water at all.
