You ran in a empty room no so far away from the class. Nobody had seen you enter.

After a few second your tail appeared and you felt to the ground. "Ouch..." You said but you were okay. Your beautiful (f/c) tail shinning with the little light that came into the room.

That was close and you didn't see that coming. Riddle was getting a problem. And you realise that it wasn't that easier in Hogwarts...protect a secret like that is hard and it was even more hard to be alone to protect it...

After some minutes your tail disapeared and the lessons was probably finished.
'I should go apologize to Slughorn later..' you thought before coming out of the room.

Lily saw you and came with your stuffs to you.
"Ah Y/N!! Where were you??I look for you to the nurse but didn't find you there!" She said worried while you took your stuff from her hand.

"Thank you Lily, I'm sorry for Always worrying you I needed some fresh air..." You said Lost in your thoughts. Talking about your secret to Lily was something you thought about.

And it would be great to have someone to talk about it sometimes...but how should you tell that?

You look at her for a moment and she knew with the look on your face that you wanted to say something, so she laid a hand on your shoulder and said: "you know Y/N, if something is bothering you, you can tell me!" Her eyes were ernest.

You thought for a while. "Yeah...okey Lily..the truth is...that I could need some help yeah..." You said affraid, you were about to break the promise you made to yourself to never ever again tell someone that secret.

But it was juste to much.

"Come with me." You said and she followed you, you hadn't any other lessons today.

You were both at the edge of the water. Lily looking at you with concern as you were looking at the water with fear.

"It was last year..."you begin. "I had a lot of friend and even a boyfriend, Travis. He was nice and everything. I really loved him!"

Lily listen to you carefully.

"But one night, on full moon too...I decide to tell him who I really was.." you said before lifting one of your hand and shaping the water like you wanted, without a wand and without speaking. Lily was shocked for a moment realising what happend.

"So you're telling me that you're a..."

"Mermaid.." you whispered. "Yeah...and believe me it is a big effort for me to tell you that...But I think I won't be able to handle it alone..." You said looking down.

"That's why you were so worried at Hagrid's last lesson!!" She said.

"Yes...I didn't knew that mermaidns heart could give such powers before...but Travis knew...and he try to take them..." It was hard for you to speak those words.

"He tried to kill you..."she said looking down.

"Yeah..."

"Are you parents like that too??"she asked curious.

"No, they adopted me. I love them, even if they don't really know a lot about magic, they try their best everyday to help me through !"

Lily look at you and smilled.
"Don't worry Y/N, I won't tell anybody you have my promise!!" She said trying to confort you.

You smiled back: "I knew you wont...thank you Lily !!I feel much better!!"

You felt relieved, you were really happy to have met Lily. You knew you could count on her and that you won't feel that alone anymore.
