The next day, Y/N had potions with Tom Riddle in groups. She sat next to him the bottom of the class.
When she sat and took a look at him, even if she knew that it wasn't really what it was, she couldn't stop think about the moment he said 'I like you'. It wouldn't stop playing in her mind and that bothered her.
Tom was smart and he liked to manipulate people and she didn't understand how he could be so emotionless right now after what happend yesterday.
Y/N Pov :
"Do you have something to Say?" He said looking back at me in his usual monotone voice of his. I was probably staring at him for too long.
"No" I replied embarassed. Turning my head and using my hair as a shelter to hide my red cheeks. He was different from the first time I met him. Like the Time where I would have let Pepper rip his face off...haha.
I was Lost in my thoughts again that I didn't noticed professor Slughorn and professor Dumbledore coming in with someone else that I didn't knew. A slytherin student.
I look up only when they started to speak. And that's when I met the new student eyes.

He was charming, and there was something odd with him, but I couldn't tell what.
He was actually staring at me with insisting eyes, that made me inconfortable. He didn't looked away once. And Tom seemed to noticed that and he was staring annoyed at the New guy too. But then Dumbledore spoke up and I was the one to look away completly.
"Listen, listen please. I have the pleasure to introduce you Noah Cooper. A new student, again. Hope you will get along together!" He said smiling.
"Thank you professor." Noah said with a charming smile. Something about him was mysterious and kindly familiar. But I didn't understand why and how. He just stood there looking at me.
Then it was Slughorn's turn to speak. "Yes great, I'm happy to meet you! And welcome in the house of slytherin ! Go sit with Y/N and Tom over there. They are actually my best students and they will help you I'm sure!"
"Thank you professor !" He said with a charming smile. A lot of girl were looking at him in awe. It was the first time that another boy was making some shadow to the Tom Riddle and he seemed to noticed that.
He was coming at us smiling. He was looking at me again with insisting eyes and that made me smiled awkwardly.
"Hey, Nice to meet you I'm Noah. Noah Cooper" he said lifting his hand to me. I was about to shake his hand when Tom's hand was quicker and he barely shook Noah's hand and replied annoyed.
"Yeah yeah, Slughorn just said it, let's work now." He said in a cold voice that suits him so well. Hé didn't look at him once.
"Oh okay." Noah just said Always smiling and nodding at me to great me. I smiled back but I had this strange feeling I had when I met Tom, that I have with Noah too. This smile he had was to bright. Especially to me.
But he doesn't have this same dark energy as Tom...So am I overthinking? Being psychotic again? I don't know.
The hour went very fast. Noah was a great partner, he had some good skills that, I could see, were annoying Tom. He didn't Say a word when on the other side, Noah was a real chatty person.
He transfer to this school because of his parent and because he heard a lot about Hogwarts.
After this I got out of the class and I was about to make my way to the library went I saw Noah following my pace. So I stopped to know why.
"Hey...Y/N, I thought since I only know you, you could show me around?"he said with a charming smile. It supprised me since I didn't seem to be the one to have problems with making friends..but I aggreed.
"Okay, but you know I'm not the best, it's gonna only a bit more than a month that I am here." I smiled.
"Really ?So we are both transfered students ! We have a lot more common points than I thought !" He laught.
"That's funny consudering that you are a slytherin and I, a Gryffindor.
"I don't see any differences. " He smiled while lifting his arm for me to take it. "Shall we?"
"Thank you" I said taking it smiling and starting to walk.
Tom's Pov:
I Seen him chasing her after class. I was about to ask her to come study with me when he catched her before me.
I thought Y/N would have been more Suspicious about him like she did with me but when I see her relax and smile like that...I realise that I am far from having her on my side...
I hate this guy and I don't know what, but something isn't right with him. I Seen the the smirk he gave me when he came accross me before catching her.
