Captain Rex once again walked onto the bridge, to find Generals Skywalker and Kenobi, along with Commander Cody and Echo circled around the holo-table. He walked up to the table and put his helmet down on the edge. Rex saluted his General.

"Ground troops are gearing up and loading onto transports. Air support is prepping flyers in the hangar."

"Very good Rex. I want you and Echo to pick a few good men to come with me in a troop transport."

"You won't be in the air sir?"

"No, General Kenobi will be leading the air assault today."

Rex raised his eyebrows. He knew how General Kenobi felt about flying. Rex sympathized. He always preferred being on the ground himself.

"It's true Rex," General Kenobi said, standing opposite him, with arms folded. "You and Anakin will land with the ground troops here," Kenobi pointed to the blue globe over the holo-table representing N'Divrens, "a few clicks south of the mine where there is a clearing in the dead-tree forest. If there are droids hidden inside, we will draw them out."

Echo enlarged the mining section of the planet on the hologram.

"Most mines have more than one entrance. The main entrance is a huge cave facing south, but I believe we'll find a small cave on the northern side that will lead us into the mine. But, we'll have to be on the ground. It will be too small to detect from orbit."

"Once we have the droids engaged," Anakin said. "Obi-wan and Cody will punch a hole through the driods from the air. Rex, then your team and I will head to the rear section of the mine to find a way in and extract Padme. Then we'll all withdraw back to the star destroyer. Victory today is rescuing the Senator not taking down every single droid."

"Sir, yes sir," the clones said simultaneously, raising their hand in salute.
