- "This can't get any worse can it?"
"Sure it can - just give me a minute."
"Yoongi, debrief phase one for us please," Namjoon said as he gestured to the hacker to step forward.
"Alright through my surveillance of the streets, I've formed a blueprint of our location," he said as he rolled it out on the table. From the sketches, Jungkook had immediately recognized that the street they were. "Now if we can get her to come over here," he continued as he pointed to the spot where Jungkook usually set his stall up, "we might just be able to get her alone and then make her talk," he said with a smirk, glancing up at the others.
"This can't get any worse, can it?" he murmured as he stared at the blueprint.
"Sure it can. Just give him a minute," Jimin chirped.
As Yoongi continued on about how they were going to lure the target, Jungkook just stood there confused as fuck, because he had no idea what the heck was going on. Jimin nudged him a bit to get his attention. "You don't get what's going on do you?" he said with a small smile.
"Yes rainbow, I don't," he said, trying not to smile back.
"Well you see, we're trying to get our target to a popular location, and then convince her to talk to us in private. After we get the information that we need from her, it's up to you and Tae to dispose of her."
"But what if she has a life? You know family, kids, and all of that stuff? Surely you should consider that too."
"We do a background check on our clients before we decide what to do with them, to see if they're good enough for society to actually live. This woman has been a drug dealer for about six years and a prostitute for eight so I don't think the world needs much of her anyway," a new voice said from Jimin's side. He had this platinum silver section of hair that looked like some kind of silver bar that gleamed in the limelight. "Hoseok. I'm a field agent, just like Jimin," he said as he stuck his hand out for Jungkook to shake.
"Jungkook. A pleasure to meet you. Although I had a question, Namjoon said that you guys had actual jobs, and um Taehyung didn't. What did he mean by that exactly?"
"Oh yeah, given V's, you know, status as a blacklisted individual, he decided it was best for us to have alibis to keep us safe in case anything happened to him. It's mostly why we execute missions on weekdays, saying that you're logged in at your job is a great alibi, provided you have a great boss or in Jimin's case, employees to actually vouch for it even if you disappear," he said with a grin.
"Ah, I see. It makes a bit more sense now."
"Yes, it most certainly would. Although, since it's you Jimin and Yoongi this time, you still might need some field training," Hoseok asserted.
"I won't be needing to hold a gun, would I?" the cherry-haired asked tensely.
"Not at all, you might just need a bit of practice with analyzing your environment."
"Makes sense," he said, following their line of thought.
"Alright, I think we can dismiss for now. Park, train him well, and I expect to hear updates on the progress by tonight. Yoongi, make sure everything is set and the rest of you can leave," he said with a wave of his hand.
Jimin and Jungkook spent hours right after the meet, training over what it's like to be in the field. The younger was dragged by the shorter male immediately after and interrogated about what it is like at a street market, even having to enact a few scenes here and there for Jimin to understand, since he has never been to one.
