"So, I hope you all understand why we're here today. We're here to discuss Phase 2," Yoongi announced, glancing at Jungkook for a brief moment before continuing.

"From the information that we have received from our client, it seems that they were to meet at Maclaren's pub to discuss matters. It's an average pub with more strip club-worthy stuff and rooms upstairs, so if we can pin him down after gathering the info as to where our target would be hosting the gala, I think we have a strong chance at clearing V's name."

"Now for the task, we'll be needing Seokjin and Hoseok for the field. I'll be in the control room monitoring the cameras and Taehyung can go meet our client. Jimin, do prepare some clothes for the occasion," he said. Jimin nodded in acknowledgment.

"I'll go," Jungkook blurted out.

"What did you just say?" Namjoon asked.

"I said I'll go. Pubs are popular places for commoners and thus that would make you noticeable, and we don't want that. Whereas I can go inside without any problems at all," Jungkook said with a shrug.

"Absolutely not," Taehyung butted in.

"What?"

"You can't go to the pub. Do you even know how to behave inside a pub? You don't know what could happen to you if someone touches you. It's a one-man mission and I don't think you're up for the task yet."

"You don't even know about me," Jungkook said under his breath.

"I know that you aren't ready for the club life yet, and that's that. End of discussion."

"And you aren't the judge of that seeing that you barely know me!"

"Taehyung..." Namjoon started off. He silenced him with his hand.

"I live right next to a pub. I know how they reek of alcohol. I had to take night shifts at the local cheap pub that I lived right next to for three years, and then do shifts after that when I needed the money. So don't you ever dare say that I don't know what it's like to go to a club!" Jungkook screamed, storming out of the room.

All he wanted to do was just disappear. Sure, Taehyung was being protective, but he didn't understand that if anyone recognized him, he would be behind bars in an instant. And it wasn't like him to volunteer at all, given what he's been through. So being looked down upon like that actually did give a blow to his ego.

He walked further and further as his feet took him out of the chalet into the forest. This time, he didn't care to actually get lost, because he didn't want to be found. He walked deeper and deeper until he found a cabin that stood in its glory, a treehouse beside it.

He decided to climb up the treehouse first to see what was inside, but as soon as he reached the landing, he fell in love with it at first sight.

The atmosphere was very cozy with fairy lights hung up all over. Blankets seemed to be draped in a haphazard fashion, with a small shelf of records and books at the corner, the record player resting on top of it. He walked over to the records and decided to pop on in. Soft beats started to emanate from it as he draped himself with a blanket and huddled to a corner.

Maybe it was fate that he stumbled upon the cabin during his second time here. If he was here for the first time, he probably wouldn't have enjoyed the atmosphere as much as he did now.

Now, he had mixed feelings over Taehyung; when he felt it was okay to trust him. When he felt safe for the first time.

Hours had passed and it was starting to get dark. Jungkook curled himself into the blankets a bit more as he switched on the fairy lights. Switching off the record player, he decided to curl in the sheets a bit more and before he knew it he drifted off to dreamland.
