-" On a scale of one to ten, how badly do you want to kill me right now?"

"I'm hovering somewhere in the high thirties,"

-"Everything here can kill you but I can do it the most efficiently"

In most movies and books, a person who's kidnapped would usually wake up from the effects of chloroform in a dark room and would most probably be chained to denote that they are captive of their abductor. Well, as for Jungkook, he got the luxury of waking up to a super soft mattress, fluffy pillows and fresh clothes.

He rubbed his eyes for a few seconds to process his surroundings. It all came together to him when he realized that he was kidnapped by a cold blooded murder and that he could die any second just because he witnessed a killing.

After had a mental sweep of the room for a few seconds, Jungkook started to analyze his surroundings. For starters, the room seemed a bit lit, noting that it was daybreak. Big french windows were wide open, leading out to a balcony, which meant that if he collected a few objects to ease height for a long jump, he could make it.

Well, actually that was his Plan A until he saw the railings that would block his fall as well as the drop down which looked like it was about four feet high.

Formulating a Plan B, he reckoned that by placing the same objects that he would for easing height, he could perform a high jump by standing right next to the railing and then shift it into a long jump which would have him ending up on the trees and then resulting in a drop down a foot below or less, depending on how high he was from the ground.

If only the railings didn't scare him, he would've been a human squirrel and his name would be known worldwide as the man who can fly.

Settling on a Plan C, he decided to grab random fabrics to knot them together and make a rope, which would then be tied onto the railing and all he had to do was climb down instead of up. Seemed really simple, extremely efficient and he could even make one of those simple knots that can be taken off from the height above to cover his tracks.

Except there was one problem. His makeshift rope wasn't long enough.

As he stood at the railing trying to contemplate how high he'll be when he reaches the end to make the jump down to the ground, he didn't notice someone coming inside to check up on him.

"Ah, you've awoken, I see. I'm Jimin, one of V's men. I presume you slept well," he said in a tart tone. Jungkook spun around as he heard the voice that emanated from the other end. Realizing that he was stalling time, he made a run for it by swinging his legs over and dropping down as fast as he could.

"Hey, hey!" Jimin yelled as he rushed to the end of the railing. Groaning at the fact that he nimbly escaped from his eyes, he pulled out his walkie talkie and got the guards on the intercom.

"Code green, we have a captive on the loose, I repeat code green, we have a captive on the loose"

As Jungkook had anticipated, the drop down from the end that couldn't make the cut wasn't that high, so when he let go, he wasn't surprised to land on his feet like a cat. Feeling proud of himself for getting this far, he decided to take a left and sprint until he found some kind of exit that would get him out of here.

He continued on for a bit further only to find himself bumping into a bunch of trees. Following the beams of light that were on the ground, he started to walk in their path, hoping that there would be a visible end from the mass of bark and leaves.

A few minutes of walking actually seemed like hours and right after the first one, Jungkook felt like he was just walking in circles. But he knew what would happen if he went back. He'd never be able to see the light of day and most probably be deprived of food and water and the cause of his death would definitely consist of torture and knife gashes.

With the sun beams starting to get thinner and thinner and the sky turning from a bright blue to hues of pink and purple, Jungkook had lost hope of even trying to find an opening that would lead him to the road. So far, he had two options - 1. Stay right where he is and sleep on the ground and wait till daybreak to find a path or 2.Continue in circles and hope that he'd find Taehyung's chalet which had better living quarters than good ole' nature.Seeing that the second was best, he continued to drag his sore limbs to some random path that would hopefully get him back to the chalet.

After ten minutes of painful walking (which included a few growls from his stomach because he didn't have his one meal of the day yet), he finally found a few night lights casting beams like the sun. Sadly however, he wasn't prepared for the guards to drag him inside.

"Well look who it is," a guard sneered. "Ready to finally come back home after you've realized that there's no hope for you?"

"Shut up. At least I wasn't a coward and I tried to escape from this place, and all you two dimwits have been doing is just standing there all day in shifts," Jungkook replied with a snort.

"Why you little-" another guard said as the first one grasped his left arm tightly. The second guard wasted no time in clasping the other into a firm grip as they dragged him inside.

"Let go of me you cowardly twats!" the cherry haired yelled as he was dragged inside to the lounge. Eyes stared at him from a circle as they looked at the new captive that Taehyung had abducted.

They finally loosened their grip on him by dropping him on the floor. "Thank you," the younger grumbled as his eyes met with a boot. He rubbed his biceps a bit before bringing his gaze a bit upward to see a sinister smile of the cold blooded murder named Kim Taehyung.

No, scratch that. A very hot, sinistrous man in all black (hair included - which was donned by a bandana) who looked like a murderous psychopath that goes by the name Kim Taehyung.

Yep much better.

"You think you could escape just like that," he said, smiling wickedly as he created a poof expression with his hands "and suddenly find a random opening that would lead you to the road for you to go home did you?"

"Well if you knew I was going to escape anyway, why did you let me go? Or better yet, why didn't you come looking for me?"

"This place is just forest land covered over a space of ten miles. And only my trusted men know the way in and out. We have cameras all around, so even if your dilly dally self collapses of exhaustion, I would most certainly know which is why we called a code green - to not search for you until you move out of sight. Plus it was fun watching you run around like some enthusiastic video game character."

Jungkook gulped. His fate looked like it was to be sealed any minute now. Might as well plead guilty for a killing that could actually be called merciful.

"On a scale of one to ten, how badly do you want to kill me right now?"

"I'm hovering somewhere in the high thirties," he replied, eyes glinting as he picked up a strawberry. "You see, even if you were to escape again, everything here can kill you. The tree leaves are oak - they'll cause rashes. Almost all of the berries are poisonous and as for my men, well one snap of the finger and they'll track you down. But only I can do it the most efficiently," he went on, smiling as he bit into the fruit.

"What do you want from me?"

"That Jeon Jungkook, is for me to know and for you to find out."

"H-ow do you even know my name?"

"Well, my dear redheaded captive, you are the key to my three phase master plan of innocence. And if I slice your existence off with just one flick of my knife," Taehyung continued with his oh so sinistrous grin, "all the viable bits that I need won't be there," he said as he gestured with his knife, "which means I'll go back to square one, and I don't want that. I don't like stage one. It was dark, gruesome and terrifying. So until I decide what to do with you, it's best that I keep you alive for now."

The younger just stared into his captivators orbs as he listened to the response he got. It was then that he knew that there was no way out, which meant that he fucked up just by deciding to walk home in the rain that day. And there was nothing he could do about it.
