"Bring me your school bag," said Snape softly, "and all of your schoolbooks. All of them. Now!"

Harry turned his back and headed towards the dormitory. What am I going to do? he thought. When he arrived, he came across Ron.

"Blimey, Harry? Is that blood?"

"No time to explain, Ron. I need your Potions book."

"Why-"

"I said no time."

Ron pulled out his Advanced Potion-Making book from his bag and gave it to Harry, looking at him suspiciously. Harry ran as soon as he got it and went to the seventh floor.

I need a place to hide my book. I need a place to hide my book. I need a place to hide my book...

He wandered back and forth in front of a wall. Suddenly, he saw a door appearing. The Room of Requirement was revealing itself. As soon as the door opened, he rushed in and tried to find something that he could put his book inside. A cabinet struck his eye. He opened it and saw a box, but it wasn't empty: there was a shiny tiara inside it. He had no time to examine what it was so he closed the box back and threw the book next to it before closing the cabinet. I hope I can find it later, he thought and ran back towards where he had left Snape and Draco.

"I won't say 'I told you so,'" said Hermione, an hour later in the common room.

"Leave it, Hermione," defended Ron.

They were at the Great Hall. But Harry didn't want to eat anything. He was thinking about the cabinet he had left the book in. Am I ever going to see it again?

"You're still thinking about it, aren't you Harry?" inquired Hermione.

"It was my fault, Hermione. The Prince didn't tell me to use the spell, I chose to use it," Harry reminded her.

"I can't believe you're still protecting him," Hermione protested. "He can't be a fine person if he has put that kind of a spell on the book. And I reckon it's not the only Dark spell there-"

"Blimey, Hermione! Leave the guy alone. Just because you are jealous of his success in the Potions class-"

"It has nothing to do with it, Ronald!" Hermione snapped. "We've talked about this before. This incident has nothing to do with class. It was a dangerous spell and Harry used it against a person. Even if it's Draco and I don't like him, it's not okay. You shouldn't use any spell that you don't have an idea of just to try! And we have no idea about this Prince person-"

"All right, Hermione! I get it, okay? I shouldn't have used it!" Harry shouted and he left the Great Hall. He knew she was right. He knew he wasn't supposed to use a spell he didn't know. But he felt so connected to the book and thought it wouldn't bring him any bad. Who is the Half-Blood Prince anyway, he kept wondering, who is it?
