"Search the vault carefully, Bella. Is the sword safe?"
"Of course it is safe-"
"Don't answer me, Bella! Just look if it's safe!"
There was no one near Bellatrix Lestrange. She was talking to a man by the tattooed sign on her arm. Harry saw her walking inside a vault, searching every bit of it. The vault consisted of thousands of cups. Each of them resembled one another. There was one, however, with the badger symbol graved on it.
"Harry, Harry! Get up, I have news!"
Harry opened his eyes. Hermione was standing beside him.
"Look at the sign. I think Dumbledore left me the book because of this," said Hermione. Harry came closer. It was a familiar sign with a stick, a circle and a triangle.
"Oh, Hermione! I know this sign. I had first seen it on Marvolo Gaunt's ring in the memories Dumbledore had shown in the Pensieve. I didn't know it meant something back then but I also saw it on the necklace Luna's father was wearing at the wedding. I asked him about it, but there was no time for him to answer as the Death Eaters attacked."
"Do you think we can go ask him about it again?" Hermione suggested.
"But Hermione, we were looking for the Horcruxes, remember? We shouldn't change our focus."
"Harry, I think this is pretty important," Hermione stressed. "Dumbledore left me this. We keep coming across it. It was also on the tomb of someone named Ignotus Peverell in Godric's Hollow, remember? It is apparent that he wants me to find-"
"I don't believe in that rubbish anymore," said Harry. "I don't get why he left these 'clues' rather than straightly telling us what they meant."
Harry already felt grief for Dumbledore's death but he also couldn't help but also feel angry towards him. He had taken so much with him to his grave and now, he couldn't ask him for any information.
"Harry, I know you are angry with him for keeping lots of things from you. Don't forget that we read about his past together. But we still need to start from somewhere. We haven't made any progress since the locket. Maybe this symbol has something to do with the Horcruxes, or You-Know-Who, don't you think?"
Harry looked at her in the eyes. He didn't want to go to Luna's father, but no other option seemed to be sensible.
"All right," Harry answered. "We are going there."

"Harry, hi! I wasn't expecting you," said Xenophillius. He seemed anxious.
"May we come in, sir? We have some questions," said Harry. Xenophillius let them in. Harry realized Luna was not there.
"Where is Luna, sir?"
Xenophillius didn't answer. He seemed really uncomfortable and changed the subject.
"What were you going to ask me?"
"We wanted to ask you about this sign," said Harry, showing the sign on the book.
"You mean the Deathly Hallows?"
"The what?" asked Harry and Hermione at the same time.
"The Deathly Hallows," repeated Xenophillius. "Haven't you heard it before?"
Both Harry and Hermione shook their heads as no.
"Well, do you know the Tale of Three brothers?"
