"I can't believe it, mate. So it's ours now? You know that it's the most powerful wand in the world, we can do anything with it!"
"We?" asked Hermione. "It's his wand, not ours Ronald!"
They heard a shattering voice and looked at Harry. He had just broken the Elder Wand and was now throwing it off the cliff. Ron looked at him with great shock.
"Mate! What have you done?"
"I think what he did was really appropriate," said Hermione. "Do you know how many dark wizards have owned it? And as long as we have known it, it belonged to Dumbledore. It would be disrespectful to use it."
Harry looked at Hermione with a smile on his face. She had read his mind.
"Everything's going to change now, isn't it?" she asked him.
"Yes," Harry said. He grabbed her hand and promised himself to never leave it again.
"Please just keep the snogging to the minimum..." Ron said, looking at Harry and Hermione. They all started laughing and wished this moment never ended.
