Part 8

Jades P.O.V

I woke with no headache for once, I repeat no headache! I smiled and sat up, that was a great sleep. I looked around the room we were in and jumped, when right beside me was Jake. He was lying down and looking up at me smiling tiredly. "Hey mornin" he said getting up. "Morning are we going now or what" I giggled and stumbled up to my feet. "Yeah I think nows a good time" he said pointing to Laura and louis who were fast asleep. I nodded and walked over to some aisles. "So yeah, we'll need something like, food, water definitely, spare clothing and stuff like that" I said counting on my fingers. First I walked over to a food aisle and looked at some food. There were crisps, chocolate, jellies and anything you could think of... but they were all gone off or out of date. My stomach grumbled so ran over to another aisle which turned out to be a clothing aisle. There were boys, girls, men, women and baby clothes here. Everything!. I grabbed a pair of underware and chuckled under my breat. Hah spongebob frilly thongs. As if !. "Nice choice" I heard Jake laugh. Shit. I blushed and quickly threw them at him and smirked. He made a face and I laughed so hard that I fell. After laughing crazily I got back up and looked at other underware to bring on my trip. Jake just shook his head and walked over to me. He started looking at the mens boxers.I grabbed three pares of underwear, a pair of baggy bottoms, a black shirt and socks,  I think Jake did too, and walked over to were I slept. There was a green and a black rucksack on the ground so I picked up the green one. I placed the underware at the bottom, the rest I stuffed them in, zipped it up and flung it over my shoulder. I walked over to Jake who was looking at weapons and picked up a sharp silver knife. Jake looked up at me and smiled "look at this one" he said holding a mashette that was the length of his arm. "Too heavy" I replied shrugging my shoulders "oh ok miss expert of knives" he said mocking me. I narrowed my eyes and shook my head. "Its taking us way too long to get ready for our trip" I said looking straight at Jake, he shrugged his shoulders and gestered me over to him. He put his fingers oveer his lips and shushed. He pulled out two hand guns and I shrieked, what if this was his plan this whole time, to kill me? oh my god. He pulled my arm "this ones for you and this ones for me" he handed me one and I looked at it. "My dad tought me how to shoot birds when I was younger so I'm sure it's not that diferent to shoot an infected" I said pointing the guns with my two hands towards an aisle. "Ok come on" he said grabbing my hand and standing up. Out of my suprise he pulled me to him and hugged me. "Dont die on me when we go for food and supplies" he said tightly hugging me. I hugged him back "don't worry I wont".

  I pulled away, picked up my gun off the ground and slipped it into my large pocket. Jake and I got ready to go and we left Louis and Laura a short note saying that we left.

It said:

Sorry that we are leaving so early but we have to do it for the group. We are going out to get supplies and food and water and so and so for all of us. We will be back in a day or two but if not do not worry we will be ok. If any of you need anything we left them in a feeze bag beside Jades bed. Stay safe and protect each other. We will lock up after us so that no infected get in. See you soon Jade and Jake. 

I looked at it and smiled that seemed ok. I put the not beside Jake and Laura and headed to the door. Jake was peering out of a half open door. He spun around and put his fingers to his lips. I ran up to him and crouched down. "See any" I said to Jake, he nodded his head and gestered with his fingers that there was only one. I nodded and said "I'm sure we could take out one" I whispered tyo Jake. "Yes ok but it's beside the car"Jake said so I ran up to my bed and grabbed my bat. I ran back to Jake and pushed him aside and walked outside with the sun warming me up. I ran up to the infected and yelled "hey baby wassup" it turned around and It looked disgusting. I ran up to it and thumped its head in with my bat. My shoes that I had on got ruined with black blood. I ran up to Jake and helped in guard and lock up the door we opened. I grabbed Jakes arm and he followed me to the car. When I got to the car I quickly pulled out the keys my front shirt pocket, pushed the key in and twisted it hearing a successful 'cick' and the car door opened. I jumped in, while Jake jumped in the other side, and started up the car. I let out a breath that I didnt know I was holding and pushed the lock button. I drove ahead out of the aldi car park and we were off...

Louis P.O.V

I woke up to the sound of a car engine. I looked around and seen a note beside my bed. I pulled it up to my face and read it.

Sorry that we are leaving so early but we have to do it for the group. We are going out to get supplies and food and water and so and so for all of us. We will be back in a day or two but if not do not worry we will be ok. If any of you need anything we left them in a feeze bag beside Jades bed. Stay safe and protect each other. We will lock up after us so that no infected get in. See you soon Jade and Jake. 

I started panicking they were gone. Was Laura gone. I jumped up and looked around. "LAURA" I shouted at the top of my lungs. "Yeah" she said popping her head out of the food aisle. "I found some food that isn't out of date" she said holding up some crisps and cereal bars. I sighed and sat down "ok" I said. She ran up to me and slumped down. She handed me a cereal bar and I opened it slowly. I got it opened and nibbled on it slowly, while on the other hand Laura was scoffing anything edible down her throat. This was going to be great.

I thought of a name for you all, I think I should call you my little zombies, yeah my little zombies :).
