Part 5

Lauras POV

I woke to the sound of bangng. SHIT. It was the infeted. I jumped off the couch and ran over to Jade, she was reading a newspaper."look" I said pointing to he back door. "I knew we would be surrounded yous just never listned" she said cussing under her breath. I went back into the sitting room, Jake was lying peacefully on th floor with a blanket on him, and me being me I ran and tackled him, he jumped up and pushed me off of him. I started laughing and he started laughing aswell. I went to take my phone out of my pocket but it wasnt there. Oh no I must have left it in the car I was stuck in. I thought, but I pushed it away, this was a zombie apocalypse why should I care about a stupid phone. Then all the thoughts started flooding into my brain.

What if zach texted me?

What if zach rang me?

Where is zach?

Does he still love me?

Do I still love him?

I shook my head at the last thought, of course I love him. Jade said she was going to take a shower so the minite I heard the shower turn on I grabbed my bag and threw some food and Jades clothes in, she gave me some because I didint have any. When I was done I flung my bag onto my back and  grabbed a knife that was on the counter and took two more and strapped them to a belt that I had on me already. Jake was in the bathroom so I had to be quick and queit. I lunged for the door and looked out. They were everywhere, I couldnt go out there without Jade or Jake. I closed the door and slipped down ontoto my bum, leaning my back and head to the door. Jake flushed the toilet and came out. I have to say he was good looking, but not as good looking as zach. He smiled and sat beside me, I smiled back and got to get a full look of him. He had blonde hair and blue eyes but his blonde hair had streeks of brown in it, I giggled at the thought of him having grey hair, haha. "what are you laughing at hmm hmm" he said making a funny face. " Nothing" I said giggling. "can I tell you something" Jake said

"sure" I said

"ok umm I think Jade you and I should go, were getting surrounded pretty quickly". I stood up with Jake and said "I was going to go but I wouldnt of survived out there" he picked up his bag and put some stuff in it. A few minutes later Jade came down and was ready, she had her bag on her back, knives tide to her belt and her awesome bat in her hand, she was wearing black jeans, a tank top, a leather jacket and a  bandana around her head . I was wearing slimey shorts and a short sleeved top. Jake was wearing a black top and jeans. Jade flung Jake and I a leather jacket each and we took them. " they wont bite through them" Jade said, I put mine on and it fitted perfectly. Weird. Jake put his on and it fitted perfectly on him aswell. " I had two younger brothers they went on holidays and forgot them here" she said looking down. I hugged her and said " we will find them dont worry". When we were done a very peacful scilence  we said we should go. Jade led the way and she went out back.

Jades POV

I led the way to the back door. When we were outside I held up my bat waiting for an infected to jump out of nowhere. One infected grabbed me by the ankle, I started kicking like crazy at its face but it just made it more worse, it held on tighter and it was starting to hurt, but I pushed the hurting away and smacked my bat plenty of times on its head. It lay there on the ground and stopped twitching. ugh that would give you shivers. I quickly stumbled upwards and ran over to laura and she was tackling an infected, I grabbed my knife from my belt and ran up to the infected. I stabbed it down onto its head five times, I let it all go onto the infecteds head and started crying while stabbing it thousands of times."hey come on dont worry we will find them" Jake said, I looked up and he was smiling at me. I dont know how he can still smile after this horendous day. I stood up and dusted myself off and walked over to an infected and thrashed at it. It lay on the ground, I looked at my hands and they were covered in black blood, im a monster.
