Part 13

Hannah P.O.V

I was just about to give up when I heard gun shot. I looked around curiously. There was a very handsome man a bit older than me, he was shooting the zombies and they stopped running after me but they started running to him. He was shooting them but they kept on coming, then one zombie jumped on him and bit his arm. "NOOOOOOoooooooooo" I screamed running up to him and grabbing him away from the zombie. One zombie looked at me and started to whimper then all the zombies around me started to whimper and slowly run away. After a few minutes there were no zombies to be seen. The handsome man in my arms started to grumble. I put my ear to his mouth to hear him and I made out "take... this... and... shoot... me... before...I...hurt...you" I was shocked but grabbed the gun and quickly aimed at him. He was looking at me with sad eyes and I didn't think I could do it but then he started growl so I pulled the trigger and it whizzed straight through his head so his lifeless body fell backwards into a puddle of black blood. I felt so responsible but so horrible. I opened the pistol and checked if it had amo, It had six bullets left so I had to use them wisely. I put it in my back pocket and walked away leaving a person that could have been in my life. Damn. I kept on walking until I came to a stop to see a big supermarket named aldi? I have never heard that name before. Why? because I'm American and I think aldi is like Waltmart. I came to Ireland to visit my Aunt Melissa but got caught in traffic because someone crashed into a 'zombie'.

Flashback

I got out of the car and ran up to the person who crashed. "Hello ar-are you okay" I asked but got no answer. I ducked under the car that had flipped over and called out "Helloooo" but still no answer. I stood up and looked at this place I was at, all around me was beeping horns and people shouting. Something grabbed my ankle "come on god damn it help mehhhh grrmughr" I looked down at the old man and seen his eyes turn pure white and his hands on my ankle turn greenish gey. I screamed and kicked its face with my other foot and it completely let go of my ankle so I took the chance and ran for my life. I ended up running to my car. I opened my car door and got in while clicking the lock button. I opened my glovebox and found my shotgun. It was black with hot pink designs on it. I took it out and shoved it in my pocket, I grabbed my phone on the passengers seat and turned it on. It was only 7 am because I was going to work. I held my phone and noticed that I had five messages and ten missed calls. OH SHIT! I opened the messages first and started reading,

Jade: HANNAH WHERE ARE YOU???

Jake: I'm with Jade don't worry, where are you?

Alex: Are zombies real, I'm stuck in my room help meeeee

Laura: (10 missed calls), help me :(!!!

Lisa: WHERE ARE YOU????

Flashback over

I yanked my phone out of my pocket and facepalmed myself while I looked over the contacts. Hmmm which person should I call, I flicked through the contacts and stopped on Jade. It was ringing but took a whie until I heard a beep. "HANNAH DEAR LORD ARE YOU OKAY I WAS WORRIED YOU WERE FRICKIN' DEAD?! " I heard Jade and screamed into the phone excitedly yet wishing she was here to help me.

Jades P.O.V

My phone started ringing and I looked at it questionly, then I seen the contact name. I jumped up and ran over to a place with some privacy. The phone kept ringing so I decided to answer it! "HANNAH DEAR LORD ARE YOU OKAY I WAS WORRIED YOU WERE FRICKIN' DEAD?!" I shouted happily into the speaker of my black Lenovo phone. "I'M AS LUCKY AS YOU I THOUGHT YOU WERE DEAD ASWELL" she laughed and started doing that hilarious spcho laugh when you can here only breathing and she slaps her hands like a seal! " Okay are you alright where are you exactly?" I asked but got no answer. "Hello, shit the signal's gone" I looked at the screen on my phone and the call was ended because of the signal. I shouted to Jake saying I was gonna look for signal. I tried sending a message but it said it has to find my location. That's it! the location. I clicked it and it said she was on a bridge wow so detailed well I have no wifi so its good enough. Oh wait I think I know a bridge close by. I walked back over to Jake and said " get up off your arse we're going". He cocked an eyebrow "why?" I smirked "you know Hannah, well I think we can find her" I said grabbing a trolley and gesturing him to grab one himself. He grabbed one and smiled happily. " I don't know her but I'm glad that we can find another surviver. We strolled with our trollya towards the doors of aldi and noticed it was open. I looked at Jake and he smirked while shouting "race ya to the car woohoo" he got a head start but I manadged to get past him laughing my head off. We got to the car and I opened the car. I opened up the boot and starting shoving all the clothes in the boot. Jake shoved a load of food and big bottels of water in. We couldn't fit all the stuff in so we put everything else in the back. I hopped in the drivers seat breathing heavily while laughily lightly. I turned to Jake and he looked at me. The sky was going dark and the stars where showing. He looked at me with love in his eyes and locked the car doors. "Jade I-I think I love you" he leaned in and I leaned. He kissed me pationality and I hopped on his lap. "I think I love you too" I smiled.
