Untitled Part 20

Jades P.O.V

We are now stuck on a building and we have NO food because we left it in the car. And where is the car you may ask? Its in front of the building, where the infected are (facepalm). We have plans to go down there two by two or in groups of three but the infected are killing more people which means more infected, great!! "Okay the suns coming up so we have to go quickly" I said looking at Jake. "Okay me and Jade are going to go and try to get through the trap door and try to get to the car" Jake said looking at me smiling. "I have a feeling that I should go with you guys just in case ya know someone gets surrounded yeah" Liam, " yeah sure your welcome to come with us but be prepared" I said to Liam. He nodded and picked up a gun off the ground.He cocked it and tons of bullets fell out, "ahhhh god, no bullets left" he said as he dropped the gun on the ground. "Just use a knife" I said as I put my knife in my holster/belt. I grabbed my bat off the ground, walked over to the  trap door and pushed a few things we threw on top of it off. I waited for any sound but heard nothing. I slid the lock slowly and quietly. It popped up and made a big noise. I looked down and seen that they couldn't get up (infected) because there was no ladder.I peeked my head downward and seen that there were indeed three infected but they made no sound and were just lying down on the ground. I didn't know whether they were dead or not because they were twitching like crazy. "Guys I'm coming asweel I feel left out, here i'll go Liam you stay with Hannah look after her" Harry said and I nodded to Jake while I jumped down into the empty room. The infected didn't seen to be alive. I walked around the room and noticed it was a library. I walked over to one of the infected  and it was an old man. I slowly took out my knife and looked at his face. He was extremely old and I think he just died of death! I looked at his leather jacket and noticed it had multiple pockets. I opened the left pocket and pulled out a wallet. Money is no good now. I opened it up and pulled out a family photo. It was a picture of an old man and women, two middle aged adults and a little baby. There was a blood splatter across the photo. A tear rolled down my face thinking of my own family and if they are still alive. I placed the sharp end right above his forehead and pushed. No blood splattered anywhere the knife just sank into his head. I pulled it back out and it was clean... what. The body stopped twitching and it slumped back. The two others looked okay and they looked dead so I looked up the the trap door and shouted "Guys its clear!". I seen Jakes legs dangle down from the trap door so I ran and hid behind a library shelf. I heard a thump and I seen Jake walk past me. I walkd behind him and jumped on his back. He yelped and then noticed it was me. " Kay Liam come on its clear" Jake shouted up to Liam and I heard crunching. He dropped down onto the ground and walked over to us. After that Harry hopped down as well and I was very confused. I hopped off of Jakes back and landed on my feet. "Ummmm?" I said putting one of my hands out. "We compromised" Liam shrugged his shoulders and Harry nodded. "Okay leeeeeets gooooooo" I shouted and I lead the group. I picked my bat up off the ground and walked ahead. I looked over a balconie and there was a spiral of stairs. I opened the balconie door and took a step. The wood creaked because of rare use and I took another step. Another creek, each step I took there were multiple creeks. I decided to hop onto the railings and slide on my stomach! I slid slowly down th spiralled stairs and hit a bump. I noticed that I was at the bottom. Quietly got of the stairs and looked around the room. I was in a hall that had one of rooms surrounding it.
