"Scott?"

"Scott! Open your eyes!"
Scott woke up and was rocking back and forth uncontrollably. He was strapped to a stretcher, in an ambulance.
"Scott! We're on our way to a hospital. You're going to be okay!" Mitch's eyes were filled with tears; his face was red.
"I'm... tired." Scott heaved.
"I know. But you need to stay awake. Scott? Keep your eyes open."
"I... I... can't..." Scott's eyes slowly closed and he woke up in an empty white room.
"Hello?" He called. There was no answer. What's going on? I was just in an ambulance with Mitch... and now... I'm wherever this is. Am I... Dead?
