Surprise

Part 5

I spent the next few days cleaning some of the boxes out of the garage and making the house feel more like home. I loved hearing from him, but he always seemed to be interrupting me when I was busy. I had a list of things to do Sunday morning before I headed to the airport to pick him up. I was finally feeling more ready for this surprise party. I still needed a location though. I went to bed Saturday night feeling very accomplished and very ready for Avi to be home. I was startled awake by the beep of the alarm. I was very confused and then I was sure I heard his voice calling my name. I sat up in bed and pulled my knees up. I was looking forward to him being home. I spied the clock and was very surprised by the time.

I walked up the stairs still calling her name. I wanted to surprise her, of course, I didn't want to scare her to death or get my ass beat. I wasn't sure if fight or flight would trigger if I scared her. I didn't want to find out. I knocked on our bedroom door and half laughed at myself. I'd never knocked on that door before. "Baby, Lizzie. It's just me, Avi. I'm home. Are you awake?" I opened the door slowly. "Lizzie?" She was sitting up in bed. I smiled. "Hi."

I jumped out of bed and sprinted across the room and into his arms. "I missed you so much." I kissed him fiercely. I always slept in pajamas when I was by myself and this was no exception. I was wearing one of his most recently worn t-shirts. It smelled like him and that helped me to sleep.

I smiled and opened my arms as I braced for contact. "I missed you too. So much I couldn't wait to be home." I gave every bit of what I got then spun her around. "I love you." I smiled into her eyes and then kissed her again much more humbly but twice as hungry. My hands got greedy too and started going everywhere they could.

I moaned his name and tears came to my eyes. I was so happy to have him home. I was equally as happy to have his hands on my body. "I love you too. How was your flight? Did you need a shower? God, I missed you," all came out of my mouth between kisses. I was wide awake and couldn't be happier. I couldn't keep my lips off of his.

"Um, Whoah!" Mile a Minute Lizzie is just as fun as Mile a minute Avi. "I love you too. Flight good, Yes. Shower, anything that gets us naked. Missed you like crazy." I was working my way out of my clothes as I kissed and bit at her lips. "The sooner. The better," I growled.

I pulled his t-shirt off of me and slipped out of my panties. I grabbed his hand and practically dragged him to the bathroom. We both love showers after flights and this one would be dual purpose. I started the water and climbed in. The need I felt was so strong. He couldn't get to me fast enough for me.

She loves showers. I love showering with her so I took every opportunity she gave me to do so. By the time we got to the bathroom we were just the way I wanted to be. The water was still a little hot but I really didn't care. I followed her into the shower and pulled her body as tight to mine as I could get it. It was just a hug at first, simple and plain naked and wet. Then it was something made of insane passion and desire. I don't even know where my hands went or how we ended up in the position we were in and once again I simply couldn't be bothered to care about those details. My body was inside hers. Her mouth was on mine when it wasn't busy with my name and I couldn't keep hers from my lips any more than I could stop breathing.

His name fell out of my mouth more times than I could count as my body accepted his easily. I wasn't going to last very long, but that didn't matter. I was exactly where I wanted to be, with the only person I wanted to be with. I felt my body tighten around his as I flew off the cliff. I leaned against him as I tried to catch my breath. He was supporting most of my body weight and that didn't seem fair. I guided us slowly to the bench and sat him down. I collapsed into his lap. I knew this was just the first of several I would experience this morning.

"Hmmm. Hello, Love." I smiled and pressed my forehead to hers while I put my hand on the side of her face. "Maybe we should consider washing up in a bit." I was still half breathless and mostly aroused. I sighed deeply as I got my breathing back under control. "I love you."

"Hello. Mmmkay." I was drifting just a little. I could feel him talking to me as I lay against his chest. "I love you too." I kissed him softly. "That was wild." I felt better and more relaxed than I had since he left.

I just rinsed us off and turned the water off. "Sit for a moment." I left her in the shower and went to grab her towel and mine. I wrapped mine around my waist and her around her shoulders as I dried her. "Lift your arms." I wrapped her towel around her and secured it then scooped her up and carried her to bed. "Bedtime. We can continue this in a few hours." I kissed her forehead again and unwrapped her and lay her on the bed. I pulled the covers over her and went around to my side of the bed where I dropped my towel carelessly on the floor and crawled into our bed with her. I snuggled as close as space would let me and drifted quietly into a peaceful dream.
