I strolled into homeroom, with a confident mood. Elizabeth was not there yet, to my disapointment. Instead, I saw Michael. "Calum, we had band rehearsal yesterday. When you didn't show up, we moved it to today."
"Sorry Mike." My mind wandered everywhere. "I'm so fucking stressed. You cannot believe the crazy amount of bullshit I went through yesterday. I saw a really hot girl." I said, right when Laurie walked in with Elizabeth behind her.
"Hey boyfriend." Laurie winked. "Hi Calum's buddy! I'm a FRESHMAN. You can see me around during lunch because we're combined with you SOPHOMORES."
Michael shot me a weird look. I mouthed at him to not pay attention to her. Elizabeth smiled a very special looking smile and sat across from me.
"Hey Michael." she said to Michael with the same smile. What the fuck? I didn't know that they knew each other. My first instinct was to feel jealous.
"Hey." he said, smiling back at her.
She was just like Luke. Making everyone feel special when they weren't. I hated those girls, so hard to get.
The bell rang, and I saw Laurie outside. "Laurie, please, not a good time. I was late to social studies yesterday, and Ms. Engantus will give me a lecture if I'm late" I reasoned, a little irritated.
"Ooh okay Calum! I'll be in AP 9th Grade Science! After that I go to math lab!' said Laurie excitedly.
I wasn't too excited since I found that I was in the same science class as Laurie. Why was she only good at science anyway? Weird weird weird. I walked to social studies, and when I took a spot I dozed off to the noise of students debating about Obama's immigration plan...
